Dr. Steven David Major, MD

I’ve been coming to Dr. Major for several years. He’s a really nice man and always addresses all my problems. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor.

I have read the reviews by the "other" patients. I have been going to see Dr. Major for at least 3 1/2 years on pretty much a monthly basis. (I'm type 2 diabetic) i'm confused by the negative comments the others left. I usually am there in the early morning, and everyone seems to be in a good mood, and never unkind. He has never given me any reason to question his knowledge or skills. we have had to change some medications and dosages, but he was always ready to help the situation. occasionally Marsha can get a little stressed, but you have to understand she is looking after the needs of many patients, rewrighting doctors orders, securing appointments with other clinics for tests, etc..... I would recommend Dr. Major to any and everyone.....a satisfied patient.

I hate being lied to and most of all I hate waiting for paperwork for over two months especially when they have a note in there Office post saying give them three weeks to complete paperwork.

Was going to see another doctor who was next door but that doctor was on vacation . Took a chance on Dr. Major and glad I did . Staff was friendly and even though I was a walk in , I was in and out in under one hour . The doctor took his time and was very thorough.

Dr.Major is a good Doctor.he is slow but thorough.His staff is horrible!Marsha will. Cost this office to lose many patients! I had to stop going there because she wouldnt do a pre authorisation for my prescriptions and she cost me thousands of dollars because she was lying saying she was trying .When i would ask her about it she would get mad and hang up the phone on me.She talks about the patients and treats her staff terrible!It's sad because the doctor has no idea what's going on .He needs to know before she runs off all of his patients!wake up Dr.Major!

I read the other reviews and just had to say that they are very accurate. This man may have been a good doctor at one time, but his heart isn't in it now. My mother picked him out from the phone book (big mistake) so I took her there on several occasions. He stood at the door reading a list of questions to ask her, and it was the same questions every time she went. She has difficulty hearing, and I politely told him this, yet he still spoke barely above a whisper. When she would ask him what he said, he would get highly irritated. All he does is order tests for things that any other doctor would already know was not the problem. He seems miserable, and it appears he makes his staff miserable in the process, because they are not nice. I now take my mother to a much nicer doctor. Oh, and there's never anyone in his office, yet you have to wait for an hour!!!!!

Everytime I went I sat in the the exam room for over an hour!! he has no bedside manner, talks down to you and is in a big hurry all the time. Finding a doctor is so important to your life, you need to pass this one by

Average wait time is well over two hours before you even see him and then he spends about ten minutes with you if you are lucky. He does not listen but he does like to write prescriptions....too much.

I do not recommend this Dr. He has no clue what he is doing and almost everything he orders is just a scam to get more money from the insurance companies. I had an umbilical hernia last year and he gave me 3 pregnancy tests within 2 weeks. A general surgeon diagnosed the hernia. His staff is rude and uncooperative. You have to go back in and pay your copay just to receive test results. It's ridiculous and a joke. Don't waste your time.
