Dr. Steven Dwight Mcmahan, MD

There are new faces at Fayette Regional Health Systems Emergency Room, the physicians of Preferred Emergency Specialists, Inc. Dr. Steven McMahan is the Director of this skillful and talented staff of physicians that began seeing patients in December 2002.

Dr. Steven McMahan received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. He completed his residency at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Emergency Medicine. Dr. McMahan is board certified in Emergency Medicine and also has certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Advanced Pediatric Life Support. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, American Academy of Emergency Physicians, and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

In his free time, Dr. McMahan enjoys spending time with his family, Sandra, his wife, and their two daughters, Shelby and Jessica. They enjoy doing a variety of activities together such as biking, travel, and hiking. Dr. McMahan is an avid reader, enjoys photography, and is a private pilot.
