Daughter moved back in with me and needed medical care. I called Dr. Belcher’s Office to make an appt. Since we are “self-paying” patients, Dr. Belcher is no longer accepting self pays as new patients according to the receptionist. I don’t know why, but can only assume he prefers ripping off insurance companies for more money than he charges self pays. I will be finding a new doctor for the entire family as this doc is no longer a person to be trusted for us.

After having the same family practitioner for over 34 years, I met Dr. Melcher through a friend's referral... I must say, he is a keeper. He work with me on things I need to get better at, a great diagnostician, and very caring as well as his staff. I cannot say enough good things about him.

I am terrified of going to the doctor, and Melcher is great. I was at ease right away. He is very thorough and easy to talk to. One of the best I've found in years.

Dr. Melcher is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. He is patient, listens, and takes all the time needed. He always asks how everything else is going too. I have never felt rushed through at any appointment. He is really a great person and cares about his patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Melcher's since he move here and took over for Dr. Wilson. I have always been seen promptly and treated with respect and courtesy. Dr. Wilson was a favorite of mine, but Dr. Melcher is as good or better. I don't feel uncomfortable in any with him or his staff. They are definitely the best there is.

I see several different doctors for different reasons, and Dr. Melcher is BY FAR the most patient. He will talk out all of your problems/needs and will still ask... how is everything else? These offices that want to know why you need to see the doctor and then you HAVE to stick to that one topic are a waste of time. Dr. Melcher is the best.
