Dr. Steven Ross Mobley, MD

I went to Dr. Mobley for a septoplasty consult. He then made comments about my "boxy" tip and how he could "fix" that and a few other things he didn't like about my nose. Unfortunately I trusted him and agreed to have other things done. Long story, but the end result is terrible. My nose is bigger than before surgery! Bulky and yet hard and pointy at the same time. He made everything wider, and there is now a dent in one side of my nose. I regret ever setting foot in his office. After surgery I tried to tell him I didn't like how wide my nose was now, and he snapped back that "I told you, that is what we had to do!" Why?? My bridge was fine. It was total overkill. My nose looks ill defined and terrible. Proceed with caution. He may be great with reconstructions and "big" issues, but I think his ego sometimes causes him to make poor decisions.

I got a rhinoplasty from Dr. Mobley about 5 years ago and am not satisfied with the results. Vitals won't let me attach a photo, but my current nose is oddly bulbous at the tip and does not resemble the altered photo of the nose Dr. Mobley designed for me. I don't think it's actually an improvement from my pre-rhinoplasty nose. When asked about this, I kept being told that this is just "lingering swelling" and that I should get more steroid shots in the tip of my nose to clear out the swelling. I've done that on three separate occasions and whatever swelling or fluid that was filling the tip of my nose just keeps coming back. I've also being told by other doctors that swelling shouldn't be an issue five years later, so I may just have to accept that I got a botched rhinoplasty. I know others have had positive results with Dr. Mobley, but it has not gone well for me.

Doctor Mobley ruin my face, botched my nose and does not want to take any responsibility, He want me to pay him again 4500 dollars to fix what he did, I regret every day having that procedure at his practice, I hope I can help someone with this post

This is a long due patient review. It took me a couple years of research before I opt for Dr. Mobley over all other plastic surgeons in the valley. I have referred him to many of my acquaintances, whom are happy patients of Dr. Mobley as well. It's been over 4 years since I had a lower Facelift performed by Dr. Mobley. I have a skin type that doesn't heal fast and when it does, you can see the marks for years to come (they come as deep red scars, linger for years before they somewhat disappear). in summery they look gross and ugly. Dr. Mobley has an innovative incision technique (which he meticulously explained to me) that did wonders for me! The incision under my chin and behind my ears are not visible at all. In fact they were mostly gone within 3 months after the surgery, which is amazing for my particular skin type. The lower Facelift performed by Dr. Mobley took years (10-15 years) away from the way I looked before the surgery, and still does. It is holding even… though I gained and lost a lot of weight a few times. The pre, during and post surgery experiences I had with Dr. Mobley and his staff were pure professionalism and wonderful care. I am returning to him for more procedures, because I trust him to perform the best, and because he is truthful about his performance. Thank you Dr. Mobley and staff.

Just 2 weeks ago, had neck and facelift. Results beyond my expectations already (and will further improve). Every step of the way, Dr. Mobley and staff's treatment was over the top: caring and professional. Dr Mobley clearly defined what he could/could not do, and I followed all pre/post op directions carefully. Closest friends think I look great, but can't detect that I had surgery after just 2 weeks. Worth every penny, and can't imagine a better experience!

Before having my nose operated on, I spent a day consulting with a handful of surgeons in the area. There were some similarities with every consultation, but Dr. Mobley by far won my vote of approval. It was very clear to me that he was the most skilled, open-minded, and took the time to explain everything to me in detail. So I decided to go with him. And I'm so glad I did. I won't go to anyone else at this point. Dr. Mobley is not only a skilled and experienced surgeon, but he also is an artist and a perfectionist. And I am so grateful for that. When he began operating on my nose, I was nervous because it was my first time having anything like that done. He spent a notable amount of time preparing me mentally and emotionally. He drew on my face, marked me up, talked to me in detail, and took the time to listen to me and made sure that he understood exactly how I felt, what I wanted, and how we would proceed. Upon seeing the results after the procedure was done, I was immediately… impressed and knew that I had chosen the right surgeon. He honestly exceeded my expectations of what I thought could be done. Anyone wanting a plastic surgeon who doesn't settle for anything less than perfection, please use Dr. Mobley.

I had a revision rhinoplasty done by Dr. Mobley about two and a half years ago. Pre-procedure, my nose was so irregular that it seemed as though little could be changed. When discussing the nose I was hoping for with Mobley, I said that I wanted a nose that looked dignified on the face of a late 40’s female and a nose that did not look blatantly like a nose job. I also expressed that I wanted a nose that was narrower and had a less prominent profile. And finally, I had a concavity on one side of my nose that I wanted to be filled to make my nose far more symmetrical. In general, I wanted my very irregular nose to be symmetrical and elegant. I had heard that Mobley was an extraordinarily meticulous surgeon. I am an Operating Room nurse at the U of Utah hospital and one of my co-workers with years of experience who had worked with him in the Operating Room said that he was such an artist in the Operating Room, that he “had never seen anything like it.” The results are… incredible; my nose fits my face beautifully, it is symmetrical, and it looks nothing like a tiny, ski jump-ish, obvious nose job. He clearly addressed all the details that I wanted revised. The final outcome is so much better than I ever thought possible. I have been part of many cosmetic procedures and I would assess that Mobley is a plastic surgery wizard. He is also highly reputable among a number of surgeons with whom I work as he trained with a number of Ear, Nose and Throat surgeons for years. (I had seen them send patients to him saying he is the best.) He is an excellent communicator and is personally vested in each of his patient’s success. His practice is tightly organized and his staff members are kind, expedient and knowledgable. He is an outstanding surgeon.

I went to Dr. Mobley a few weeks ago for an otoplasty and had a fantastic experience. He texted me using his personal number for about a week after the procedure to make sure that everything was going ok, which I really appreciated. The results are amazing!

Our experience with Dr. Mobley and his team was nothing short of amazing. From our first consultation to the last office visit we were treated with kindness and professionalism. The decision to have plastic surgery can be a difficult one to make. Once we met Dr. Mobley our fears were put to rest. He set realistic expectations and helped us understand the process. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
