Dr. Steven James Narvy, MD

A couple of years ago Dr. Narvy did a reverse should replacement on my right shoulder . 21 days after surgery my shoulder dislocated. He scheduled surgery for the next day to fix it. Build up the outer edges of the cup to prevent dislocation. The surgery failed like the first surger, in fact it made it worse. It still dislocated, my range of motion was reduced plus there is pain when I reach the outer limits of movement of my shoulder.. I think Dr. Narvy is an inept surgeon and a one star rating is over rating his ability as a orthopedic surgeon.

Doctor spent a lot of time reviewing my case and he answered all my questions. He was honest about my knee injury and he said it may require surgery but to go through PT first. He was patient and thorough.

Can never get anyone on the phone for refills ,they dont fwd authorizations for past 2 weeks on urgent tests. No communication with a staff member for any question renewed meds or anything. Dr seems nice enough but needs to change staff and have phones answered. Cannot give more than 1 star unless staff is changed or more concerned with peoples needs

I think Dr. Narvy did an excellent surgical procedure on my left elbow. He suggested I exercise bending and straightening it after he took the cast off - one week after surgery. I did as he suggested and had almost a whole range of movement 4 weeks after surgery. He gave me his email so I could contact him if I had any questions, which was very helpful. I am very happy with the outcome so far. I recommend Dr. Narvy to anyone with a broken elbow.
