Dr. Neufeld is the best. He replaced my ankle a few years ago and its the best thing I ever did. He explained everything to me beforehand which gave me confidence to have the procedure. I would definitely recommend seeing him for any foot problem you have.

Broke my ankle. He explained my situation and treatment well. Gave me confidence in walking on the foot again. Also the medical assistant at the office was terrific. I forgot his name but he was super helpful. Helped fit me for a brace.

I am a Family Medicine doctor and had severe congenital bunions, hallux valgus (resulting in severe foot deformation) which over decades became increasingly painful. For years I met orthopedic surgeons, asked their opinions of the best foot surgeons in the U.S., gathered reports from my patients and others that had foot or ankle surgery. I chose Dr Neufeld and he is very probably the best foot and ankle surgeon in the country. My surgery is a difficult one and it turned out perfectly. After three years I have had no problems. My foot looks great and feels great; I can ski again, play tennis, soccer and basketball. Often people do not have the best outcomes after surgery, not because of any lack of talent by their surgeon, but because they do not carefully follow the exact guidance for follow-up, healing and therapy post-surgery. Dr Neufeld is certainly one of the very best foot surgeons in the world. I would not have any other surgeon operate on my feet or ankles. - RDH

Unfortunately very disappointed. I was told to start running through the pain on my injured ankle which caused other issues. Received little time and attention.

Botched my foot

Dr Neufeld, I wanted to thank you, and your wonderful, and knowledgeable staff, for the care I received before and after my foot surgery. Dr. Neufeld, you are a very skilled, and compassionate surgeon. This is my 4th right foot surgery, and I wasn't necessarily looking forward to it. But now I wished I had found you earlier. It would have saved me a lot of discomfort. Kudos to Constance for here excellent wound care. I highly recommend Dr. Neufeld at the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center
