Dr. Steven Farrokh Nezhad, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Nezhad for a year now and I constantly feel like he is dismissive of my problems. I have had to advocate and push to get many tests done to figure out a medical issue I have going on. I have tried to express to Dr Nezhad how disruptive my daily symptoms are to my everyday life. Once I finally got an exam done Dr Nezhad didn't even call me or schedule an appointment to go over the results, instead he sent me a letter and no follow up appointment. He prescribed me a medication to mask the issue I have going on but has offered no real solutions and seems to be brushing off my case. It's extremely disheartening to have a doctor not take you seriously. Would NOT recommend, he won't take your problems seriously.

Colonoscopy was painful. I begged him to stop but he would not. Wrote to ceo of Lahey. Called him and he pretended he did not realize I was in pain. Nurses were horrified when I told them. Turn the other way if you hear his name.

That is what my colonscopy with dr nechad felt like. Stupid me, I went back to him for my upper gi issues. He told me there was nothing he could do, I just needed to lose weight. I went to another gi doctor who told me I had a narrowing in my esophagus was narrow and stretched it with a balloon. I would never go back to dr neZhad again

Kind, gentle manner and extremely empathetic and polite. If there ever is an imminent problem with my flare-ups, Dr. Nezhid addresses them immediately. He's one of the good at Lahey United.

My experience with Dr. Nezhad was extremely good. I was referred to him for a problem I have had for 50 years that had gone undiagnosed. He worked with me and had me wait for 6 months for better medicines to be released. He followed through on minimizing side effects of medications He was very mindful of the cost and insurance coverage of extremely expensive medicines and worked very hard to keep my financial stress to a minimum. Between him and his nurse Patty I couldn't have asked for better care. I am fully cured now and will always be grateful to him and his entire team. I would recommend them to anyone who needed help.

My experience with Dr. Nezhad diagnosingmy problem with colitis was very good.He took the time to explain the resultsof my tests and he answered all my questions and was very compassionate andpatient. Anyone would be lucky to be revered to him!!!

This doctor has moronic judgement and patient skills. He should undergo more training or be under constant supervision. He is not trustworthy to handle patients alone.

I went to Dr Nezhar for an endoscopy Monday at Lahey Clinic. Dr Nazhad was great, would definately recommend.

My experience was poor. I was awake during a procedure I should have been out for. The Dr yelled at me in the middle of the procedure for making noise.
