Dr. Steven Jay Ory, MD

I started my ivf treatment with Dr Ory, and at the begining everything was great until I paid for the treatmet. During the stem, I never had a call from the Dr, not before the retrival or after the retrival. The clinic told me they suddely lost my phone number..but the anesthesiologist was able to call me the day before which is odd. Now, I keep sending messages to the Portal of IVF and I have no asnwer on what to do. Just got a call to know if I want to do another round.

Im very disappointed with doctor Ory. Every time i went to see him they charged me 450 dollars and he had no clue about my case. I was been treated for high prolactin and he had no clue about it. I had a FET and was unsuccessful. He doesnt care for the patient, all he cares about is how much he is making. i had 2 tries with him and wasnt good. I felt he didnt know what he was doing. He is not a good doctor, very cold and dont care. I do not recommend this doctor for no one going thru what im going thru. Please look somewhere else.

This doctor is excellent, professional, and very personable. He is my hero because of the fact that when a doctor in another department had demonstrably wronged me, instead of covering for the doctor who had wronged me as probably most doctors today would have, he went to bat for me by going to the head of that doctor's department. He got me switched to another doctor that I have now had for over 20 years. He is FOR the patient. He is a man of INTEGRITY.

I have been going to Dr. Ory for over 20 years, I drive over 2 hrs for my visit because he is the most experienced most knowledgeable doctor anywhere and he has the credentials to back him up. I had been to many gynecologists prior to him and was not confident I was getting the best care. He is also friendly and listens he presents multiple options for consideration and makes recommendations for the best course. I wouldnt go anywhere else/

My experience with this clinic, doctor, nurses and finance department have been a nightmare from beginning to end. I paid more than USD 15,000 and got nothing but rude attitude and an incorrect treatment that ended up on a failed IVF. The nurses told me to use the wrong medicine and doctor decided to do my embryo transfer knowing I had a polyp and that the embryo could not implant. And when it comes to billing they could not get it right, I got more than 30 bills with different amounts and was threatened to pay the balance (despite the fact the amounts were incorrect) if I wanted to see the doctor again. Being threatened and nervous on the phone by the finance department, I gave them the incorrect credit card. When I called to ask them to refund me that card and charge a different one ( I almost begged them), they did not do it... The Finance Manager Sandy could not do a favor to me. Because of my age, I went to him thinking that I could use some assistance trying to concieve. After the initial appointment, he set me up with a variety of testing. When I came in for my first test, I was told that he diagnosed me with infertility and I would have to self pay for all the testing. I felt like I was a number in a factory. The overall staff is friendly, however the supervior who is charge of taking appointments needs some sensitivity training. My husband had to travel over 150 miles to make the appointments. When I had a test to do she was not willing to coordinate his test, so that they can be done on the same day. Of course my test all came back normal, and because I was diagnosed by Dr. Ory as infertile, without completion of all the testing he recommended my insurance won't cover it.

Dr Ory is the best! After wasting over a year with another Dr he found out what my problem was right away. I was pregnant twice but unfortunately didnt turn out well by no fault of this office. Highly recommend Dr Ory! Very knowledgable bedside manners are exceptional

Dr. Ory is very knowledgeable. He found my problem when no other doctor could. He is kind and answered all my questions!

Didn't care about me as a patient but was more concerned about how I would affect his numbers as far as successful treatments and his money making enterprise. Because of my age I was pushed aside, made to wait long periods of time, and not really treated as an individual case. My questions were not answered in an understandable way and my phone calls took sometimes days to return. After 3 years of the run around with Dr. Ory I went to another doctor/facility who succeeded on the first try. All it took was alittle time and care on the doctors part. I would never subject any women to the unprofessional treatment I receieved from Dr Ory and IVF South Florida. Patients are people not just a number!
