Dr. Steven Frederic Palter, MD

Dr. Palter is Amazing accompanied by a great staff. He will not promise the world but he will deliver. His most amazing nurse AnnMarie is very knowledgeable and will guide you every step of the journey. They won’t just sugar coat just so you go there (we encountered that at other offices) but instead will try to identify the issues and use their knowledge and expertise to deliver a positive outcome. Dr. Palter’s public stats speak for themselves and is at a top rank not only in NY but among the top nationally.

I went to Dr. Palter for over 2 years. 4 unsuccessful pregnancies. But, that is fine. I get it, he can't promise pregnancy. However, it is my final experience with the office that just made me feel like they don't care at all and I was just a number to them. My last Transfer was our final one covered by Insurance. Unfortunately the pregnancy didn't take. They have an online portal with blood results so I already knew by about 3PM. The doctor called me at 7:30PM to talk to me and said results couldn't be left on the voicemail. I didn't get the message until 9:00PM, so I figured I would call the office back in the morning. I called back and they told me he was with a new patient. They asked for me to call back and at some point they would "hopefully" be able to connect us. I said, can he just call me back when he is free? They said that is fine, and they would let him know. Well, I never got a call back! I get that MAYBE he didn't get the message! But, I never had ANY… follow up at all and it has been months! Every other pregnancy that didn't take, they would either call me or message me in the portal with instructions on what to do next.. This time, it was like they knew that the insurance coverage ran out and their money flow was done.. So, they just didn't care anymore. Truly heartbreaking for such a difficult and emotional process. It just made us feel like they didn't care at all.

Years later I am still traumatized by this guy. Left his office in tears after he basically gave me zero hope. He tried talking me into surgery to remove my tubes and said he wouldn’t do Ivf without the surgery first . He only cares about $$, not about his patients. I left heartbroken but listened to my gut, did not do the surgery, found a new doctor and had natural pregnancies. Do not waste your time and money .

Compassionate, caring, empathetic, professional, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and just plain fabulous!!!! This practice is only in for the $$$. Left our family heartbroken and with a very empty wallet. There is not much I can say about his staff besides I like them more then I liked him. Very sad traumatic experience. Do not recommend him at all. I wish I didn't have to give him a star to leave a review.

Dr. Palter and his staff are simply amazing. From the moment you walk through the door, you are treated like family; greeted by name, and always with a smile . My questions and concerns were answered in a timely fashion, and in a kind, compassionate manner. I cannot say enough about the incredible nursing staff, who are among the most caring, professional individuals I have come to know. Dr. Palter himself has a warm and friendly bedside manner, and it is evident that he truly cares about every single patient. He informed me of my options, took the time to explain all the details, and helped me to come to decision that was in my best interest. Infertility is a long and difficult road, and no matter what my outcome, I will be forever grateful to the excellent care I received at Gold Coast IVF.

Words cannot express how much I love this place. When I came to Dr. Palter I was heartsick and pretty much giving up that I could ever have a baby. the first minute I walked in I knew this was a special place. After so many doctors that told me No Dr. Palter told me he could help me. Every staff member made me feel at home and any time I had a question about my meds or treatment the nurses always answered. If I had to talk to him he is always completely honest but has never let me down and has always returned my calls when I needed him --no mater how late. It is really hard to have infertility but I am telling you it is worth it! Don't give up! Other infertility doctors told me it was too late for me but I gave it one more try with Dr. Palter and Gold Coast. Now I have my beautful daughter and I am so grateful. I will never forget everything that Dr. Palter and his staff members have done!

You have better odds in Vegas than being treated humanly in this practice. You’re nothing more than a walking checkbook in his eyes. This guy robs you when your at your most vulnerable state with all his false hopes of having a baby. Does not follow up with you on anything, makes you work around HIS time and not the time you need to go through a successful IVF (schedules all patients going thru IVF to begin at same time). Very upsetting how we were treated, we hope that no one has to go through the torture of this EVIL doctor. Like the title says he is all about the money and nothing more. Did not even care when our IVF failed, not even a follow up phone call to tell us why it didnt work, once the money stops flowing , you are usless to him. If you want to be mistreated and heartbroken then this is the place for you. If not, i would say run in a diffrent direction as fast as you can !
