Dr. Steven Young Park, MD

I took my son to him for obstructive sleep apena. After he analyzed and he operated my son. My son is doing well. And no longer has sleep apena. Dr. Park was very professional but very nice and caring.

Steven park is dangerous and here’s why. I went in for a very specific elective procedure that we both agreed to and that I took responsibility for and he And the resident ended up doing a totally different procedure that we never discussed, that I never approved and I realized after that he had totally forgotten all the details of why I was having the procedure and what exactly was supposed to be done. He was clearly doing too many different things at once and simply forgot. When I reminded him of the details of my case it was obvious that he forgot and I wouldn’t be surprised if he changed the procedure in consultation with the resident who had no idea why I was having surgery to begin with. It was extremely important that exactly what we discussed was done and he ended up doing exactly the wrong thing and I have to live with it for the rest of my life.

The best doctors do not care about self promotion or Being well known. All they care about is being totally focused on each patient and every detail of their case. That is not what you get here.

This Dr. writes about the importance of communication and listening to the patient but does not take his own advice in real-life practice. Be very careful.

This Dr. puts out a persona on his blog that is far different than the reality.

Dr. Park is a creative, imaginative thinker -- something one doesn't always find in a physician. He understood and solved my sleep-apnea problem within two appointments. No follow-up was necessary. I have recommended him to others who need a really top-notch ENT doctor. He's in the top 5-10% in my book.

Excellent Doctor!

Last year I went to great lengths to find a doctor who would fix my breathing problems. I thought Dr. Park was it. He understood what I needed and went to great lengths to get approval from insurance company then 10 minutes before my operation tells me he's going to do something different. The something different was the surgery I didn't want, the surgery I could have gotten anywhere not miles from my home. What he promised was why I went to him and why now a year later I am right back where I started. Deeply disappointed.

Dr Park is what a physician should be, knowledgeable, passionate and compassionate. He takes the time to really listen and gives advice towards at-home treatment before automatically recommending surgery. He understands the problems connected with sleep apnea/disturbances. Sleep problems can affect so many parts of your well-being. That's why he writes books and interviews experts in the field. He is a healer first and foremost.
