There should be more doctors like Dr Steven Parry. Just like his father before him, (Dr Vincent Parry), he is focused and he listens, and he genuinely cares about you as a patient. You are by far, a gem among doctors, Dr Parry. And you are a wonderful family man as well. God bless you.

I have been a patient of DR Parry for 15 years . Also I was there when his father was still in practice. A better doctor you will not find. If he is not sure what is wrong with you he sends you to a speacilist which he did with me and my colon cancer was detected. We need more doctors like him. God bless him.

Dr. Parry and his staff set an example of how a good Family Practice should be run. He is thorough in his exam and listens intently and asks appropriate questions. He explains his diagnosis and makes practical suggestions for healthy choices. He is interested, he cares about the whole person ... he clearly sets an example for his staff who treat patients in a similar professional and concerned yet friendly manner. Dr. Parry is a good doctor. I was very fond of him. He'd always treated me with respect. He didn't fit the form of the in-and-out doctor office visit where the doctor barely makes eye contact, and you're lucky if you get a few minutes of their attention. He'd spend as much time as you needed, making sure his patients were well informed. This blessing was also a curse because you'd usually have to wait 30-90 minutes in the waiting room, but the waiting time was a fair trade for the amount of time he gave his patients. Now you're probably wondering why I'm writing in the past tense and the low/fair rating. I was undergoing treatment for sometime with him. One day, the day before my monthly appointment, I was called by the office saying Dr. Parry could no longer see me for treatment. I wasn't given any other information. I was referred to a website to try to find a different doctor. The problem is I'd see him every month for medication I need. Not taking the medication could jeopardize… my entire treatment program. I was in a panic to find another doctor with only a 24-hour supply of medication left. After calling a half dozen other doctor offices, the soonest appointments available were weeks away. All of the secretaries I talked to couldn't understand how this could happen. I got more sympathy over the phone from a secretary I never met than I got from my own doctor's office I spent a long time going to. Even if he wasn't able to write a prescription to hold me and other patients over until we could secure a new doctor, I don't see why we couldn't at least have a final visit or phone call making recommendations or given some idea of a course of action. I felt betrayed. I didn't really even get my head around it until I called other offices and they couldn't believe I was cut off with a two-minute phone call a day before my appointment and a referral to a website. Before that, I was foolishly worried about him (thinking something bad must have happened if he couldn't write prescriptions for people in my treatment program anymore), but meanwhile no one was worrying about me which flips the doctor-patient relationship roles on its head. I do hope everything is ok with him. He was a good person and a decent doctor. I'd compare my overall experience to having an overall decent relationship with a friend or partner which comes to an abrupt and messy end.

if doctor parry don't like he will let you discharge you from his practice with no reason and send you on your way with no meds he thinks he is pain management but he is not . I went to a another pcp and he I told him about DR Parry he said that's father and sun who is he is under investigation and . Northfield medical group the has been sold

The office is very small. Staff seem very chaotic. Dr. Parry has changed his whole manner. He used to be accomodating and compassionate. Now he seems overwhelmed and very distracted and short tempered. Seems to be oversubscribed. Office environment needs tlc and a good cleaning. Atmosphere has potential for error.

Dr. Parry and his staff are always accomodating, professional, extremely curteous. Dr. Parry has been my family's physician for 15 years now. We completely trust his opinions, his diagnosys are always right on. I highly recommend Dr. Parry, without exception
