He's the best. He listened, was compassionate, took time to listen. I was in excrutiating pain when I went in. Had been to two other doctors with no relief. I was at my wits end. He took action immediately and eased my suffering on the first visit. What a relief. I would highly recommend him!

He did not explain my MRI results to me, which were very full of complications. I don't think he understood them based on his treatment. He tried to do an epidural in office and I asked him to stop bc it was so painful. He said in all his years he'd never had to stop and that he wouldn't be able to help me. I have grade 2 spondylolisthesis, high grade foraminal stenosis, a herniated disc, and bone spurs. He was clueless and unhelpful. His nurse Sheila was high as a kite on some pills. This place was a joke! !

Dr. Quam is a caring doctor who listens to my symptoms and treats me respectfully. He explains what the procedure will be and why he thinks it will be the best course of treatment. He explains the next steps to wellness also. I wish I could give his "bedside manner" rating a 10. In the sometimes overwhelming situation of pain management, Dr. Quam is a helpful and professional supporter. The "ease of appointment" is a little difficult because he must be in great demand.

I have seen Dr Quam several times for back pain and I must say he is the best Doctor I have seen since living in Iowa.He has a great bedside manner and I felt very comfortable with him. He did not try to dimish my symptoms or make me feel like its all in my head. I highly recommend this Doctor.

Dr. Quam is a wonderful doctor. He never rushes you and always makes sure to thoroughly explain all procedures and options that are available. I truly feel that he always has what is best for me in mind.
