Dr. Steven Mark Rapaport, MD

It's been more than few years since I decided not to let my newly formed hernia impact quality of my life. I asked for recommendation and was referred to Dr. Rapaport. Dr. Rapaport was exactly what I was looking for; he was confident and countered my fear about surgery. Initial appointment was on time, his staff organized and to the point. In his initial consultation he explained the entire procedure in plain language, not hiding potential side effects but rather he was opened and clear so I haven't had any second thoughts. On the surgery day, he stopped by my bed side to check how I am doing and to reassure me that everything is under control. After surgery, follow up was as he promised and at the time when I could again "raise a piano in the air" without any pain. Thank you Dr. Rapaport.

Dr. Rapaport did a great job on my hernia repair surgery. I've read nightmares about the side effects from surgeons not taking their time etc. So far so good. Dr. Rapaport has a good sence of humor and explains the procedure well. Also answers questions. I recommend him if you need a surgeon.
