Dr. Steven Burke Ridout, MD

Dr. Ridout really cares about his patients. Lewis Gale is losing one of their finest since he will be moving out of the area. He will not stop until he finds out what's wrong with you. I don't agree with the review that said he won't prescribe meds but only prays. My boyfriend and I both see him (along with my dad, uncle and a cousin) and he has prescribed meds when needed, although we do greatly appreciate the prayers, too. He has a great bedside manner also, which seems hard to find anymore. I only gave 3 stars on 'Ease of Appointment' because so many people like him, that it can sometimes be hard to get in, although he does reserve "sick patient" appointments for each day.

He cares about you as a person and a patient. He never makes me feel rushed. I am glad he helped me make decisions when I found out I had cancer. He is a Godly man, and I needed that attribute.

My expriences with Dr. Steven Ridout havn't been great. Everytime I have gone to him for a sick visit he never prescribes any medication, instead he prays. He will pray for you long before he will prescribe any medication.
