excellent physician in all respects. He truly cares.

First word that comes to mind. Unprofessional. Dr. Rittenberg prescribed me high blood pressure medication. I do not have high blood pressure.I recently called his office after I was notified that I had Covid. He responded in my navigator to take two Tylenol and get a booster. My wife who is also a doctor convinced me it was time to move on. The J&J vaccine has not been mandated by the CDC for a booster. I increased my vitamin D, C and zinc and now have recovered. Never had a fever. My wife says he probably spent three seconds responding.

This man will lie about you to make himself look good, he has falsified my records, he has no morals.

I choose Dr. Rittenberg after a thorough review of his background, courtesy of Google, and off-the-record comments from local health professionals. He came highly recommended from multiple sources. The glowing reports were soon validated by Dr. Rittenberg and the office staff, during my first physical. The physician’s assistant (I believe that’s what she was) started out by asking about my diet while handing me a dozen pages of dietary guidelines. This is not a pill pushing office. Whenever I have declined the doctor’s recommendation (such as flu shots) Dr. Rittenberg has shown complete respect for my choices, and never once tried to pull the, “doctor knows best.” More recently, when I complained of a declining memory, he had the foresight to recommend a brain scan, after I easily passed the neurological screening tests. He recognized that I could probably pass this testing following a major decline in cognitive capabilities. When I was concerned about receiving… excessive radiation exposure from a CAT scan he had no problem prescribing an MRI instead. The imaging center he sent me to used the highest fidelity machinery available (4G), at the lowest cost I could find in the Puget Sound. The scan located a tumor. For those who are concerned about compassion (I am much more worried about medical knowledge) he asks plenty of questions to assess your mental well-being. He seems to be a genuinely good guy. Smart but humble. I have, also, never felt rushed during my 5 years of visits.

AS a new patient Dr. Rittenberg took a lot of time hearing my medical history. He is professional yet engaging and seems to care about his patients. His staff is efficient and courteous. Professional and genuine, I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Rittenberg and his staff.

His medical competency is probably good. He is definitely thorough. He always appeared rushed, but this may have been because he was pressured to get on to the next patient. Biggest problem: he insists on calling patients (who are generally 20+ years older than him) "kiddo". I'm not saying he should have to say "Mr. Jones"--although some people would demand that--but calling me "kiddo" is going too far. I have kids older than him!

Will prescripre wrong medicine and lack of identifying the health problems.

Dr. Rittenberg is a caring doctor who wants to take the time to visit and see how you are doing. I have been with him for a number of years and highly recommend him.
