Dr. Steven N Rothenberg

 MEET THE DOCTORS
  Dr. Steven N.  Rothenberg received his DDS degree from NYU College of Dentistry in a combined 7 year program of study, with a BA degree from Queens College in 3 years instead of the usual 4.  However, his education didn't stop there.  He has accumulated well  over 1100 hours of continuing education credits.  Dr. Rothenberg is proud to have been recognized by the Nassau County Dental Society, of which he is a member, with a 1000-hour Continuing Education Award.  He is also a member of the NYS Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, former member of the American Society of Preventive Dentistry, American Society of Forensic Odontology, Lynbrook Kiwanis, etc.  "Dr. Steve," as many of his patients call him, has been practicing dentistry at this location since 1974, having started out here together with his dad, Dr. Ephraim Rothenberg, after relocating from Laurelton, Queens, where Dr. Rothenberg, Sr. had his …practice in his home.  There, his patients new Dr Steve growing up, listening to him practicing the piano "upstairs", and in fact, many are still patients of Dr. Steve.  Some still try to lay claim to being his first patient.   Dr. Rothenberg's staff all love him, as well, as many of them who worked for him and his dad in the 70's and 80's have come back to work again very recently.  He must be doing something right!  Many of his patients comment how gentle he is; others say they never had a dentist who cared as much as he does.  The main thing is that he is always trying to keep up with the latest in dentistry and incorporate them into his practice to benefit his patients, many of which can be found on this website, and will be up-dated as necessary.
 Dr. Elizabeth Joseph wanted to be a member of the dental field since the eighth grade! After she graduated from NYU with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Elizabeth decided to stay in Manhattan and continue her education at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery (new college of Dental Medicine). She graduated with her DDS in 2004 and spent the following year completing her general practice residency at Nassau University Medical Center. Elizabeth has been an associate of Dr. Rothenberg's at Premier Dental Care since 2008 and enjoys working with the staff to provide quality dental care in a relaxed environment.
Dr. Joseph H. Blum received his doctoral degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1999. He completed his residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine with an emphasis in oral surgery. In 2005, he completed Implant training at New York University School of Dentistry, and in 2007 he completed the contemporary esthetic dentistry curriculum with proficiency certification from the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry. Dr. Blum has earned fellowship status in the International College of Oral Implantology and the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2011, Dr. Blum earned Associate Fellow status in the American Association of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Blum constantly travels both domestically and abroad to learn from the top clinicians and academics in dental implantology so that his patients may benefit from the most current knowledge available today. Dr. Blum is currently at work on several research articles to be published in the near future. In his spare time, Dr. Blum enjoys basketball, hiking, biking and swimming.
