Completely agree with all the reviews. Dr. Rotter is amazing and he saved my life when all the doctors at OHSU said it was just all in my head. I too am sad that he is no longer in Portland but of course am happy that he is happy wherever he is. The people in Grants Pass are very fortunate.

I was completing this survey on my phone, and accidentally hit the 4 instead of the 5, and I couldn't backtrack to fix the error. Dr. Rotter is fantastic. He deserves a solid 5-star rating across the board! He is thorough, gentle, caring, doesn't rush patients, and always checks in after appointments to see how things are going. Can't speak highly enough of him!

Dr. Rotter is fantastic. Patient, caring, knowledgable, follows up, and genuinely interested in the health of his patients. Takes time to listen, reviews your file before a visit (not the frustrating typical "what brings you in today?" after just explaining everything to a nurse). I love that his first route to health maintenance is natural, alternative medicine, and he is not quick to turn to pharmaceuticals. Highly recommend him!

There are not enough stars for this man and his skills as a physician. It is just amazing how some of the greatest players in any profession are right under our noses and yet they are never known. What a tragedy for the patient!

He is caring and supportive. He is a partner in his patient's healthcare, not the master. He counters reluctance in the patient with persistance. He is never dictatorial,but he also keeps working with you to get you on the right path.

Dr. Rotter is warm and caring. He uses natural remedies and pharmaceutical drugs as appropriate. He takes the time to really listen and understand what you are experiencing. He is non-judgemental. He is persistent in guiding the patient onto the needed path towards optimum health. As someone who has been hurt by doctors before, his approach is perfect. Persistent, not autocratic.

I was a patient of Dr Rotter's in Portland. He was always very kind and considerate, and addressed my needs most effectively and appropriately using mostly natural and minimal methods which is what I prefer. He is very knowledgeable in these methods and has what seemed to me was an inspired instinct when diagnosing and treating me. I was very unhappy when he left to live in Grant's Pass. I wish him well and every success.
