Dr. Steven W Sarner, MD

I have been thoroughly impressed by my motherâ??s treatment at Newton Medical Center. For the first time, I can honestly say that she is getting the care that she needs. At the forefront of Newton Medical Centerâ??s team is Dr. Steven Sarner, a man who has completely changed my impression of the level of care that doctors in this industry should provide. Dr. Sarner was very respectful of both my mother and me. He included me in discussions of my motherâ??s treatment plan instead of shutting me out (which is what Iâ??ve experienced at every other center my mother has tried). For the first time, my mother has stabilized and it is due to the outstanding work done by the Newton Medical Center and especially Dr. Sarner. He is a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10. Thank you!

I have seen many doctors over the years for depression. Dr, Sarner is by far the best. He is always professional. If I need to speak with him he is always prompt in returning my calls. Because he is in a hospital setting I dont care for the staff at the desk, but even so, I dont have a long wait when I have an appointment. However there is usually a long wait to get an appointment, but as earlier stated, the doctor always returns calls promptly. I am not sure what prompted other people to write negative reviews but after seeing Dr. Sarner for almost 10 years, I have nothing but confidence in him!

This Doctor let a dangerous pedophile walk the streets. Continued to provide meds out of state so the woman could stay on the run. Who does that???

I have been struggling with addiction and post traumatic stress for years and subsequently have seen a number of psychiatrists. Dr. Sarner is intelligent, compassionate, and genuinely cares for his patients. I am not sure who left the comment about the inappropriateness of this man, but I can assure you it is nonsense and I am outraged that anyone would say something so horrible about such a wonderful and warm doctor,of which is hard to come by these days. I would recommend Dr. Sarner to anyone and the people of Newton Memorial, staff and patients included, are blessed to have him. With the help of his caring and the staff there, they have saved my life. May all of you be as fortunate as myself to find such a wonderful program with a FANTASTIC doctor.

Dr.Sarner Is An Excellent Psychiatrist, Been A Patient Of His For 15+Yrs. Only 2 Disagreements,However He Is Very Honest And Up Front And Cares About His Patients Well Being,He Doesn't Play Games, Some May Disapprove Of Him SimplyBecause He Expects His Patients To Follow Through With Their Treatment Plans
