Dr. Steven P Schmidt, DO

I was treated horribly and this has been my PCP since childhood. I went in because I wasn’t feeling well. I had a fever a few days prior and was given a written note staying quarantine for Two weeks when I asked what if it’s the flu I was told it’s not flu season and now I was a threat to the whole staff because I may have covid. I was told to exit the office and don’t make any stops on the way. The next day I was given a Covid and Flu test from a local urgent care which both returned negative results. Maybe your staff should ask the Covid questionnaire to avoid mistreatment of your patients in the future.

I’m so tired of this office. Every time I come here it’s a new problem. I don’t understand why such a fully functioning office has some many problems. I have been in pain for a week and a half now and finally decided to go (waiting so long because I didn’t want to deal with their insufficient services). Had to wait a hour and a half before seeing the doctor. The PA their was a waste of time because she was telling me how she thinks I’m feeling and not actually listening to me. The doctor said he would send my prescription to my pharmacy, half hour after leaving I called my pharmacy and they have no prescription for me and of course the doctor office is close. I would never recommend anyone to go here. Find a doctor and a team that actually cares about their patients.

Dr.Schmidt has lost his touch he was very unprofessiinal one day over paper work that he was incompetent in completing properly. Staff is awful except for Marie and the young lightskin man Marco they are very professional.The person at front desk never smiles I have never ever seen a smile on her face or the sister face. Dr. Helzner was my Dr. in the beginning I was under the impression that he was coming back which never happened wishful thinking on my part. This office lacks professionalism no one wears a name tag nor do they introduce themselves in a manner to let you feel welcomed. This office has been like this for years so many of my family and friends have left I should have left long ago still I put up with the crap.
