Dr. Steven Alan Schnur, MD

Dr. Steven Schnur is an exceptionally knowledgeable internist and cardiologist. In the over 20 years that my husband and I have been patients of his he has always taken the time to explain test results, lab results and treatment. Most testing is done onsite at EliteHealth’s state of the art office. We have the utmost confidence in putting our lives in Dr. Schnur’s hands. He always has all the answers to our health concerns. We highly recommend Dr. Schnur and his amazing staff!

I was pleased to find Dr. Schnur through the internet planning on moving from Northern California to Miami Beach Florida and I wanted a primary internist cardiologist like my appreciated Dr. of 19 years with the identical credentials! Being pleased changed at my very first visit when I was brought into an examining room with several people and then a man came in dressed civilian who I assumed was Dr. Schnur? I say assumed because not only didn't he introduce himself to me he never spoke to me rather his associates where he instructed a schedule of test for me to return for? Upon returning again I never had a chance to see or speak to him no one on one for a second? Then I returned for the results and was guided to an examining room by the same associate of the first visit and the doctor entered again no greeting or conversation with me, rather he viewed results for tests one by one on a flat screen thankfully saying positive but not telling m what each test was for just positive OMG?… He checked my front/back and just walked out without a word to me or asking if I had any concerns? He did return moments later and I was hoping his conscience motivated him but I was sadly mistaken for he returned with an associated to point out two holes in the wall papered wall where something was removed and he firmly gave instructions they should be fixed immediately and left. I'm sure no one reading this as I ever had an experience like this and the man's disdain for his job was obvious. I tried calling his office manager knowing he could care less to advise why I was leaving his practice but it required several follow up calls and finally I received a message at 7PM she called and having found a lovely female family doctor who cares I let it be. Oh yes his office is Elite Medical and he's the owner of this huge office mini hospital!

As someone who has been to far too many doctors throughout Florida in the past 2 years, I can honestly say that Dr. Schnur and his professional staff at Elite Health are top notch. Upon meeting Dr. Schnur I felt immediately at ease. He came highly recommended by the Dean of Medicine at a major University in South Florida and it was evident why right away. Dr. Schnur is both knowledgeable and extremely compassionate,as well as accessible to his patients,which is unfortunately is a rare combination to find. I am very grateful to Dr. Schnur and his professional staff for all the help I have received. Labs, X rays,CT scans and various other diagnostic tests are done in the office which is incredibly convenient. I have referred several friends to Dr Schnur,all of whom have been as happy as I am. For the first time in a long time, I feel I am getting the answers I need and am on the road to recovery. I am very grateful and a warm thank you to Dr. Schnur and everyone at Elite Health! THIS DOCTOR IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CARING WITH HIS PATIENT IS ALWAYS ON TOP OF HIS PATIENT'S CONDITION, A GREAT SPECIALIST AND VERY COMPASSIVE. I AM VERY LUCKY TO BE UNDER HIS CARE.

The office is wonderful as is its staff and doctors, Dr. Schnur included. He does seem to be very busy but was as friendly and approachable as possible. I did not have to wait very long, and while I did, he came up to me personally and asked if i needed anything in the meantime. He also tended to the people around me. Dr. Schnur is a great cardiologist who answered all of my questions thoroughly and with great insight. I recommended him to all of my friends and hope they take me up on my offer.

I have been his patient for over 6 years and have found him to be very knowledgeable, with an excellent bed side manner.
