Meet Dr. Steven R. Schwartz of New York Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in Brooklyn, NY
Dr. Schwartz is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry and completed his post graduate training in General Practice Dentistry, General Anesthesia, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the following institutions: New York Hospital Queens, Bellevue Hospital Center, Manhattan VA Medical Center, Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center, Interfaith Medical Center, Staten Island University Hospital and St. Vincent’s Hospital.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of: American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a member of: American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Second District Dental Society and Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. …Schwartz is presently in the private practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, an Attending Surgeon, and is a member of the teaching faculty in the Oral and Maxillofacial Division of the Departments of Dentistry at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center. He practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with emphasis in dentoalveolar surgery, implantology and bone grafting, anesthesia, orthognathic and reconstructive surgery and facial trauma.
Dr. Schwartz authored the chapters “Peri-Operative Pain Management” in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics of North America and “Oral and Parenteral Sedation” in An Atlas of Minor Oral Surgery. He also lectures nationally at dental conferences, study clubs, hospitals, and medical centers.
