Dr. Steven Sharon

Dr . Sharon is a young, inexperienced radiologist who has flatly refused to review prior imaging tests for comparison, citing that he does not review prior imaging tests that are more than a few years old. Dr. Sharon is the ONLY radiologist who has refused to review imaging that goes back more than a few years. Experienced radiologists who are twice his age have and DO review prior imaging, because experienced radiologists know that prior imagining is relevant. Dr. Sharon recommended that I have a CT scan, which involves a great deal of radiation, based on an MRI of my spine. I am not going to subject myself to the radiation involved without a comparison , which Dr. Sharon refuses to do. EVERY prior radiologist has been happy to compare the results of prior imaging with current imaging . IF you are a patient at Orlin and Cohen Orthopedic, I suggest that you request a script to have any imaging done at an outside imaging facility. so that you do not find… yourself with Dr. Sharon.
