Steven P. Sikalis, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College. While studying Biology, Dr. Sikalis understood the workings of the entire human body. He then focused on the health and visual functions of the eye through optometry. Dr. Sikalis feels his education has allowed him to offer you and your family a complete perspective on total vision health. In his own words, Dr. Sikalis says, “Every person is unique. That’s why I make it a point to get to know you individually. Everyone has special needs, from computer work to sports vision. You can always count on the personal attention you deserve. I’ll listen to your concerns and work with you to provide the best possible solutions.” One of the first optometrists in the state to receive his therapeutic license to treat eye disease, Dr. Sikalis continually keeps his education current. Dr. Sikalis holds membership with the New England Council of Optometrists, the American Optometric Association, the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, and the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, where he was the 1st Vice-President.
