Dr. Steven Silberfarb, DO

I took my mother-in-law for her scheduled appointment last week and the staff is just as unprofessional as the Doctor. The Doctor was in the room beside us with both patient doors open. We could clearly hear everything the Doctor was talking about with the other patient. The Doctor was boasting about how great he is. I saw this Doctor 10 years ago for my own issues and was not impressed. After waiting for 1-1/2 hours we left. I had surgery the day prior and could not sit for an extended period of time. Now his office has the audacity to send a letter to my mother-in-law that he will not accept her as a patient.

I wish I could give 0 stars as the office staff is just rude and unwelcoming! I called to make an appointment and they said they take my insurance only to later find out they do not take it. When I called this office at 8:45am the phone's were still off when they say they open at 8:30am! Then the lady who answered the phone must have been eating and upset that I called because not only was she rude but she sounded very far away when I couldn't hear her I said hello ? and she snapped back at me. The I got transferred to the women Doreen who left me a message she was even more rude!!!! I would never recommend going to this office even if this was the best Orthopedic doctor in south Florida just because of the level of ignorance from the staff it would keep me far away! DO NOT TRY TO ASK THEM ANY QUESTION THEY WILL JUST GET SUPER RUDE AND SNIPPY WITH YOU! :(

Brought my mom there several times for broken hip. He never answered questions. Very unfriendly attitude. He was very sarcastic to my mom when she broke her hip. I dont recommend him or trust him at all

Steven Silberfarb is totally incompetent and arrogant.. He should be barred from ever performing surgery. He lacks knowledge and skill. DO NOT LET HIM NEAR YOU!

Dr.'s familiarity of my problem was obvious and he was able to give me good options both surgically and non-surgically. He was also a good listener. He was a little behind schedule, but I could tell that was due to the fact that he not only spent a lot of time with me, but the other people he was seeing in clinic that day.

Spent more time explaing my problem and treatment options than any other Dr ever has. Have had surgery and am recovering nicely. Many thanks. Also his staff was warm and caring.

I was assigned to this doctor by the hospital and did not have a choice as he was the attending physician for the day. He was very rude. When I followed up at his office, not only was he rude, but so was his staff. If you have a question and ask for a call back, don't expect it! Find a doctor who at least pretends he cares, and save yourself a headache.

Very warm and caring staff. The dr. spent alot of time explaining my problem and treatment options. Would highly recommend him.
