Dr. Steven John Skoog, MD

After years of trouble that finally ended in a very scary ambulance trip, we met Dr. Skoog. I can not say enough good about him and the other staff at OHSU. For the first time in two years we were in the hands of someone who we felt confident in. He figured out what Dr's in our area had failed to diagnose and fix after being passed back n forth between hospitals at least once a month for almost two years. I'm grateful for that scary day and finally ending up with a competent Dr.

My son has his visit with Dr. Skoog today and he is the same doctor that will be performing his surgery. The office was very understanding, we were 45 minutes late for our appointment and they got him in within five minutes. He answered all our questions and put our mind at ease. I am very comfortable with this doctor that will be doing our son's surgery.

Dr Skoog completely understood my sons' fears and was PATIENT and kind. The staff brought in bubbles and toys to distract my son during the exam. Such a small thing- but it comforted my son and helped us get through a tough time.
