Dr. Steven Allan Smith, MD

Dr Smith is a great dr and is everything you could hope for. Very intelligent and kind. Explains everything so you understand it and never makes you feel rushed. Great personality and makes you feel as if you're in good hands. For sure the level of care you would expect from the Mayo Clinic.

Brilliant doctor who figured out a difficult diagnosis. I'm deeply grateful for his expertise and help.

He is a quiet, soft-spoken person who listens very attentitively and asks lots of questions in follow-up to make sure he totally understands what you said. He really explains things in a lot of detail. He looked up information online to share with me, drew a diagram, really explained things. And if I didn't understand he would say it again another way. He is really nice and funny too, but in a quiet way. It is clear that he has many, many years of experience. A true expert in what he does.

Not an easy doctor to converse with - talks over you, rushes through, does not let you completely explain the problem you are having. I regret not insisting on another physician.
