Dr. Steven Barry Storick, MD

Met with Dr. Storick for the first time and found him very personable and willing to learn all about me, my condition and what I hoped to achieve with a High Frequency Spinal Cord Stimulator. Two weeks later I was scheduled for trial surgery which was performed by Dr. Storick. The trial was highly successful and I was delighted with the results. The staff were outstanding and Dr. Storick was willing to listen to my concerns about issues after the trial surgery and explained in detail what results I could expect from the installation of a permanent High Frequency Spinal Cord Stimulator. No nonsense and found his information helpful. Thoroughly recommend Dr.Storick as a pain management doctor and look forward to seeing him again once my permanent installation is complete.

I found Dr. Storick to be among the most open and honest physicians that I have dealt with in my 70 years of living. He is very thorough and gets right to the heart of the matter rapidly and proposes solutions. I really appreciate his candor and that he is helping me to relieve my back condition>

After working with Dr. Storick for over a year, I have come to realize that he is just not a good doctor. He does not listen, doesn't like that you ask questions about his diagnosis, and back tracks on the things that he says. If giving zero stars was an option, I would.

Rather than repeat any of the rants already written by others (all accurate to a greater or lesser degree) I just want to urge you to find another physician if possible. Storick would be better served to work in a lab environment or as a surgeon - anywhere that contact with patients would be limited.

The lady below me must have been high when she wrote her review because I can't think of one remotely nice thing I could say about him. This man is a repulsive human being who thinks he is better than God and that he has the right to treat others like complete s***. Not sure why he decided to enter the medical field, but it does not appear to be because he cares for others. He is a pompous jerk who enjoys bullying others. Wish it were possible to give negative stars on this site because 1 star is 1 star too many more than he deserves.

I must have seen a different doctor than these people with comments below!!! Or maybe only people with bad things to say write reviews. I have been a patient of Dr. Storick for over 2 years and I have NEVER found him to be anything but caring and interested in what my problems were at each visit. yesterday I made an appointment in less that 24 hours, I was very impressed. he sat & talked to me asking questions unrelated to just my back and leg pain. I understand he emailed my GP to ask questions as to a test I had had. While it is true he is not a social conversationalist he does know what he is doing and does it right in my estimation. I don't come to him to see a good 'bed side manner' I come to him for his knowledge and results of his treatments!!!!!!!!!! So, before everyone putting him down how about some of you folks that had good visits add something to these reviews. st

HE'S A VERY RUDE I MEAN RUDE WANT TO BE DOCTOR! I DONT TRUST HIM WITH MY HEALTH, HE'S EVIL AND IS PLAYING WITH PEOPLES LIVES!!! I PRAY THAT GOD HAS MERCY ON THIS SO CALLED WANT TO BE GOD DOCTOR! BECAUSE HE IS NO WHERE NEAR BEING MY GOD. DON'T GO TO HIM YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF GOING TO A REAL DOCTOR WITH A HEART OF LOVE AND CARE, A REAL DOCTOR THAT'S NOT GOING TO LET YOU BE IN PAIN AND TRY TO TALK DOWN TO YOU, THIS MAN MISTREATED ME, DISRESPECTED ME , HE TRIED TO BULLY ME AND HE WAS ABUSED ME VERY MUCH SO. He and Dr. Rawl both are wonderful once you finally get to see them but dealing with their support staff is terrible. The nurse assisting them (Tammy) is rude and uncaring about you as a patient. She unfortunately is the gatekeeper for them and is the weak link for good Doctors. Doesn't return calls, and is nice only in front of the Doctors.

Very rude! Didn't seem to care one bit about the patient. Took patient off meds way too fast, which caused serious withdrawals.

He had absolutely no knowledge of my disease states all of which are accompanied by pain. It was very apparent he had no idea was was going on therefore he did what any dr.god would do - completely dismiss me. I walked out of office in tears. Stay far, far away from this man.
