Dr. Steven David Stovitz, MD

I had a strange series of 4 visits to the doctor starting with simple knee pain progressing to not being able to lift my arms in the morning. On this 5th visit, Dr Stovitz saw me for the first time. Although I was irritated to see another doctor unexpectedly, Dr Stovitz gave my condition a name and a potential solution. I was skeptical, but I tried his suggestion and it was spot on! I’m so happy to have met him and thankful for his insights.

My visit to Dr. Stovitz were extremely disappointing. His attitude and behavior was completely un-professional and downright hostile at times. Within minute of walking into the examination room, he pretty much told me to go see somebody else and refused to listen to my concerns about my health condition. When I persisted with my inquiries, he â??threatenedâ?? to send me to surgery. I had seen him before for the same condition and was following up with him but seemed like that day he had decided to not take my concerns seriously even before he walked in that room. I was already not happy with the level and quality of service I was getting at U of M physicians in general and with Dr. Stovitz in particular. After todayâ??s experience I have decided to never see another Dr. at U of M Physicians. Also I will strongly discourage everyone I know to see Dr. Stovitz.
