Thorough, thoughtful, precise, patient. Will explain and discuss any question you have until you’re completely satisfied. I’ve never left his office confused or unsure. He removed a tumor from my hand over 30 years ago, and remembering what a wonderful job he did then and how much I liked and trusted him, I returned to him for bi-lateral total knee replacement. Both surgeries were perfect, and recovery was exactly how he described it so I knew exactly what to expect. Highly recommended.

I was in the hospital for another health issues and Dr. Stuchin came to me and remove my stiches from carpel tunnel surgery, So, I would not have to come into New York from Staten Island another time. I never had a Doctor so concerned about their patient.

Met Dr. Stuchin after an extensive email Exchange in reference to a diagnosis of severe arthritis in my hip. Dr. Stuchin guided my decision making process to reach my ultimate goal of returning to my original pre arthritic condition as a competitive weightlifter. Now ten years post surgery I continue to Push myself as hard as ever and I couldn't be happier with the results!

Loved Dr. Stuchin he did the most incredible job! He is also kind, approachable, funny. His staff is informed and courteous. I could not be more happy with the outcome of my surgery.

Did bilateral knee replacement (Both knees on same day) 7 1/2 years ago, and I have no problems since. He was great before, during (though I was asleep then), and after the surgery. He has my unqualified endorsement.

The Man/Dr. Is Not only a GREAT Dr. & Credit to his Profession he happens to be a GREAT PERSON. If the World had MORE People like him walking around it would be that Much BETTER .

I live in Japan and contacted Dr. Stuchin by email and received a response from him about midnight his time and immediately thought, a workaholic....my kind of doctor. In any case our conversations led us to him reviewing my xrays and recommending the hip resurfacing after I initially asked for a hip replacement after considerable research. I arrived from Japan a week prior to the scheduled surgery and donated my own blood for a possible transfusion and did the operation a week later. The procedure went as planned and I was out of the hospital within a week and back to Japan 9 days later. Within a few months, I was walking normally and within a year was back to competitive powerlifting! I couldn't speak more highly a a person conducting his craft than the service I received. Amazing result and life altering in a positive way!

No question that this doctor is highly regarded. However, the way he treats his patients is something to consider. From my own experience, a patient before me and I had to wait while this doctor was engaging in a more than half hour conversation by the receptionist desk with a couple who had just finished with him. It appeared this couple was somebody important. Meanwhile, everybody had to wait behind them. When it was my turn, he rushed me out after 10 minutes for a $400 consultation visit. I guessed he felt that he had spent more than enough time with me.
