Dr. Steven Mark Sundstrom, DO

I have been going to him since 2014. He listens and explains in details. Shows me on the computer exactly what is going on. There have been a few issues that he noticed and ordered tests. I was sent to specialists. He is very compassionate. I am an optimist and try to make good out of the bad. He ordered an MRI and the results were that I had a brain tumor that required surgery. For many years I thought I had and was treated for migraines. Come to find out that’s not what they were. The Neurosurgeon said the tumor had probably been there for years. I was sent to Stanford for another issue. I have numerous cancers. One was removed during surgery and the other is in remission. Dr Sundstrom made me feel good when he said to me “did you ask for these issues?” It is not my fault that I have them. Oh the cancer that I have is not from the brain tumor. One time he ordered a ultrasound. It was scheduled for two weeks. I was in a lot of pain. I called an talked to his MA to see if I could… get something for pain until then. He called me, asked me a couple of questions. Told me to go to the ER right now. I ended up being admitted. I could have waited and had them worsen. I later needed surgery. I can’t thank him enough. If he didn’t discover these issues and order tests some of these issues may not have been taken care of an I might not have been able to write this review.

I have been seeing Dr. Sundstrom for years. He is always kind, professional, takes time to listen, and takes me seriously. He also works with me to find the best treatment. I respect him as a doctor and recommend him highly.

Dr. Sundstrom always takes time to talk with me and understand my medical problems. He also responds quickly to messages via the website.

Very easy to talk to,quite complete in his examinations,and answers all questions without making me feel rushed.Staff quite friendly and helpful,making for a comfortable atmosphere.
