In my work, I am fully committed to providing the highest quality of dental care to my patients. I have been given the opportunity to help people every day, and I am truly grateful for that. Each dental visit is an opportunity for me to make someone’s life better, either through simple personal conversation, oral health education, or a life-changing procedure. I always leave my office with a smile on my face!
Education
In order to become a dentist, I attained the following degrees:

Advanced Education in General Dentistry, United States Navy
Continuing Education
A substantial continuing education is incredibly important in dentistry, as it is the best way to learn about new techniques and products to better serve my patients. I want to provide the absolute best treatment for each patient, and I continually integrate the methods I learn from continuing education into our practice.
As part …of my continuing education, I earned my Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires 500 hours of continuing education and a comprehensive written test. Since completing that, I am now working toward my Mastership, which requires another 600 hours in each individual discipline of dentistry. I am scheduled to complete the requirements in the summer of 2011 and will receive the award at the National Convention in 2012. I also am a member of the Washington Academy of General Dentistry’s continuing education committee. We help organize and put on continuing education courses and seminars in Washington.
Professional Dedication
I started working for my dad, a dentist, at the age of 12. I worked for him all the way through junior high, high school, and college. Overall, I have been involved in dentistry for over 24 years, and absolutely love what I do! I couldn’t imagine doing anything else, and enjoy getting to know each and every patient who comes to see us.
I love that I can change people’s lives through their smile. Every day is an adventure in our office, providing opportunity to learn new dental methods and make new friends. In our practice, my team and I love to laugh! I have a great team that is here to serve our patients any way possible, and to make our community feel relaxed in the office. It’s a great place to work, and a wonderful dental practice to visit!
Family and Community
I grew up in Kenmore, and love living in Stanwood. My beautiful wife, Amy, and I have two sons, Tyler and John, and two daughters, Katie and Emily. When I am not practicing dentistry, I am usually spending quality time with family, reading, or watching a good movie.
I also enjoy giving back to the community, and am currently on the board of the Washington Academy of General Dentistry as well as the Continuing Education Committee. I am also active in my church and my son’s Boy Scout Troop.
