. him what happened with another doctor about my kidneys and he said without looking Ithat I did not have antyhthing wrong with my kidneys nor my adrenal glands , and soon after that I found out that I had a kidney aneurysm and a right adenoma. heIS a perfect jerk and i will go out of the country to Panama to neal Reardon instead of dealing with these horrible doctors. it was a doctor who put me on synthroid and I felt horrible and I complained about a pain in my back and he didn't look at it /..now iam going to go out of the country to Panama to see if they came straighten our all that western medicine has done to me . I was completely healthy until I went to Western medicinesMAYO CLINIC ALSO HAS TRIALS BUT HAVE YOU EVER TRIED TO GET INTO TO A TRIAL . GOOD LUCK AS MY DEAR FRIEND SAID IT IS LIKE PLAYING KEEP AWAY . all you needs is to be to be listened to . and Anthony atala at wake forrest labs is working on stem cells for kidneys but where are they . it seems that they just… want us to us die . you can't trust them but if George church gets his way there are thing that he says we can do , like a klotho and fgf 21x, it just seems like they don't want to change any thing , so if you want something look up these companies to see if they will treat you . I am so disGUSTEDted with this country and big Pharma I could scream and their lack of empathy for older people . if I out live this horrible medicine then I will never go on another western medicine .its as if CIRM DIDNT WASTE 3 BILLION DOLLARS AND THEN THEY SAY NOT TO GO OUT OF THE COUNTRY IM NOT GOING TO GO ON DIALYSIS BECAUSE OF A HORRIBLE MEDIVCINE . OR SHAL I SAY POISON .THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT WHEN THIS DOCTOR TOLD ME YO GO ON THE OTHER MEDICINE THAT HE SAID WAS THIS HAPPENED A LONG TIMRE AGO AND I FINEALLY HAVE FOUND STEM CELLS TO TREAT PEOPLE WITH .HORRIBLE I THOUGHTGH HOW ABOUT ARMOUR THYROOID . I WIIL GO TO DR. HOTZE IN TEXAS WHO DOESNT BELIEVE IN SYNTHETICS THAT ARE BIG PHARMA . SO IF YOU HAVE KIDNEY PROBLEMS THEN IT MIGHT BEHOVE YOU TO TRY PANAMA BE CAUSE HE CURED MEL GIBSONS FATHER OF KIDNEY FAILURE AND HEART FAILURE AND THAT WAS WHEN HE WAS 92 AND NOW HE IS 100AND BERNIE MARCUS OCEO OF Home Depot HAD BRONCILIYTIS AND HE WAS 90% CURED WHEN HE WENT THERE /..SO MUCH FOR WESTERN MEDICINE .AND USE HIS THGERAPIES . ALL THAT DOCTORS DO IS TO HONOUR THEIR BIG PHARMA . THE LOSARATAN I WAS ON HE SAID WAS GOOD FOR ME WAS CAUSING ULCERS IN MY STOMACH AND ESOPHAGUS , AND I DID NOT HAVE HI GH BLOOD PRESSURE BEFORE GOING TO THIS DOCTOR . THERE ARE THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO . WHEN ARNOLD PALMER SAID IF YOU WANT STEM CELLS TO GO OUT OF THE COUNTRY .

This is a long overdue review of Dr.Tilles as I was a patient of his when I was a teen about 20yrs ago. I trusted him and his staff and they in turn did not give me the guidance I needed. I basically lost my transplanted kidney because I was aging out of my parents insurance at the time and had no idea how to obtain/afford my meds thereafter. I informed Dr. Tilles and he referred me to his "Social Worker" who in reality was his billing lady. I still remember her looking into the yellow pages for resources and after a month of no meds, I lost my kidney. I blamed myself for years, but have come to realize Dr. Tilles and his staff should have been more knowledgeable and helpful for one of their own patients. Thank God I found SCVMC (although not in-time) to continue to receive the proper medical care. I called his office a couple months after and I couldn't get a hold of Dr. Tilles and his staff stayed they never new of SCVMC and they didn't have a Social Worker in the office. I pray to… all his current and future patients to be more vigilant in their own care and not be fooled that Dr. Tilles and his staff actually care about the patients.

Dr Tilles do not deserve to be in this profession. He was so very inconsiderate of human life. My mom is old but still she deserves to live and be treated as a human being.

Dr. Steven Tilles told my sister that he does not believe in God. He is very insensitive, rude and unprofessional to my mom. He is a horrible doctor.

My mother had a consult with Dr. Tillles regarding her failing kidneys due to the use of Lasix for long time in connection with her CHF condition. Dr. Tilles was called for consultation by the cardiologist in my mother's CHF and failing kidney. Dr. Tilles told my sister that my mother was greedy for seeking treatment on her kidney problems because in his medical opinion my mother was too old to deserve any more treatment. My sister told him that my mother maybe old but she has the great appreciation for life, the gratitude for every day on this earth, is still able to bounce back to health after treatment and she leaves it to God's will. Dr. Tilles said he did not believe in God. We refused to have Dr. Tilles involved in our mother's care for his disrespect to human life, disrespect of the elderly and disregard for her religious belief. We would not recommend him to anyone at all.

Totally disappointed in this doctor. Told me I was in perfect health - come to find out 6 months later when I moved and found a new physician that I wasn't in perfect health. There was a note on Dr. Tilles files to send me for a CT Scan following an Ultra Sound and I was never told that I needed a CT Scan. New doctor sent me for the CT Scan after reading the file from Tilles's office and I had a mass on my kidney which must have been seen in the UltraSound performed prior. Also - CT Scan showed that I had an aneurysm in my aorta. If I hadn't of moved and switched doctors I would have never known about the cancerous mass on my kidney or the aneurysm in my aorta. After all Dr. Tilles told me I was in perfect health. I obviously do not recommend this doctor.

He is a completely confused , strange and in a way obnoxious physician

I have been visiting Dr Tilles for Long time because he is the only renal doctor in my area and that another doctor referal me to him. He is not a professional doctor. He doesn't listen to me when i am talking about my illness, and he wants to finish quickly and leave the room. Plus the staffs of the clinic are very rude especially Jenny the front desk. She is not friendly, and she doesn't smile at all. So i don't recommend any patient to go to him.
