Dr. Vale was very helpful and knowledgeable about Lasik. He was easy to get an appointment with. His office staff was helpful with scheduling appointments and any questions I had. Dr. Vale explained everything to me beforehand. I needed some follow up with my procedure and that was handled well. 5 years later, I am 20/20 ! Highly recommend!

Dr. Vale is very knowledgeable and thorough. I had PRK done in February of 2022 and it was life changing. I had a very high correction done, was near a -11 and now have 20/20 vision. I had somewhat of a longer recovery period than the average person because of my high correction, but it was still 100% worth it. I had a great experience with Dr. Vale and his staff before, during and after my surgery. I am thankful for my experience at Acuity.

Dr. Vale is an amazing doctor. I had lasik back in 2019 with him and still have 20/15 vision! He spends time with you to walk you through the entire process and make sure you’re comfortable and understand the process. He has also seen my son and fixed his prescription so he is finally wearing his glasses again! I can’t say enough good things! He is an incredible doctor!

I was having many eye issues over the past couple of years, Dr Vale correctly diagnosed my condition. His treatment has effectively resolved my eye issues. He was very kind, attentive and spent a great deal of time with me explaining my eye condition. I am a physician and I highly recommend Dr. Vale. Dr. Vale is the most knowledgeable ophthalmologist near or far!! he treated a very serious condition on my son’s father that others couldn’t figure out!. Had he not gone to Dr Vale, I don’t know what would’ve happened! I now send all of my friends and family to him, and they all feel the same way. You will get the most thorough exam of your life! Which is a really, really good thing!

If you're considering LASIK, avoid Dr. Steven Vale. I went to him in 2018, and he essentially guaranteed I’d be seeing clearly within a week. I couldn’t even drive after two months. He blamed my slow recovery on things like my weight, lack of fiber, or my husband smoking outside—everything was somehow my fault. His dismissive, arrogant attitude gave me such bad PTSD I’d have panic attacks just driving to his office. Years later, I finally got the courage to go in for a touch-up, only to be told my $1,200 extended care contract was void because I hadn’t seen an eye doctor every year—even though this was around 2020, when no one was going anywhere. At the appointment, he talked over me, belittled me, and said my stress wasn’t his problem. He even told me I should’ve sought mental health help if the surgery affected me that much. To make matters worse, my new optometrist said Dr. Vale had no business doing LASIK on my eyes given how bad they were. Now I have to get another surgery just to… fix his mistakes. Dr. Vale is narcissistic and demeaning. I’ve never been so disrespected by a doctor in my life.

I would recommend this surgery to anyone and everyone. It is such a pleasure to be free of eyeglasses. It's a whole new way of living. Go for it. You deserve it. Dr. Vale will treat you right. He is a wonderful doctor, the best lasik doctor in the valley. He will work with you and he cares for you. He goes over and beyond to help you see better. Trust me , you will love it. No glasses.
