Dr. Steven Henry Voss, MD

Had many visits with Dr Voss over the years. From high school to thru married life. He was always concerned about each of his patients. He always took the time to find out what was troubling you and gave you the appropriate treatment. No matter what the issue was, he knew the treatment or would find the treatment so you felt better right away. I would still be treated by him if he was available at my current address. Thank you, Dr Voss. Hope to see you again sometime soon.

Voss is a great! He was my Dr for almost 20years

The other day I went to my regular clinic for an ingrown nail. My usual doctor was booked so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Voss. Upon entering the clinic, I was told he was running 30 minutes behind. I ended up waiting around an hour before his nurse came to get me. She was incredibly snobby and unprofessional. After rushing through my vitals she said nothing and left the room. When Dr. Voss finally did show up he diagnosed the problem and prescribed me some medicine. Currently I am breastfeeding and I casually mentioned this. He quickly gave me a shocked look and asked me if my son was planned or not, and if my sons father was still in his life. This left an awful impression on me and made me incredibly upset. Not only did he come across as unprofessional, but he overstepped boundaries. I will certainly not come back to him for a follow-up or Allina ever again.

Dr. Voss spends needed time with a patient to discuss the concerns of the patient. He treats the person along with the ailment. He offers both perspectives of Modern Medicine and offers education on Natural Remedies. He is educated in both area's. He has a genuine belief in their patients ability to do better than what their patients think can achieve with their health. In adversity situations, he will listen and respect your concept of your own perspective on what is presented. Another words, he encourages patients to take responsibilty for what the patient can do, to ease the symptoms. He is extremely Patient. He also knows how to deal with those that are Mentally Ill.Hence, his bedside manner allows for him to take into consideration that at times, his patients may come to him in a place of not such good mental health at the moment. He does not pass judgement. He just listens... whether you are being reasonable or not. He has the wisdom of discernment, which is a gift… from God, to truely have the career which he chose, which was to essentially, care for people. He is not in it for the money- he not just punchin a time clock... he is exactly where he is because his true desire to help others who are afflicted, regardless of the affliction.
