I would not recommend this dentist at all. The receptionist, staff and dental assistants were however very kind and helpful, very compassionate and accommodating. Steven Waite however was very condascending and has a very heavy touch for a sensitive, female patient. He did not prescribe antibiotics after an extraction, in which he left a large portion of my tooth in my jaw, he did not even notice this when he took the stitches out. If he did see it, he neglected to mention it. I asked for antibiotics and he was resistant and said it would not help the healing process. I was swollen and infected and in so much pain a week after my extraction, he didn't seem to care at all. He is completely incompetent; when pulling out my stitches, he even yanked on them, seeming to have pulled on the cut end rather than the knotted end. At first he seems very kind, but he becomes very impatient and heavy handed. My knees were up to my chest in protest when he was giving me the numbing shots and all he… said was he was being as gentle as he could. Not likely, I have never had an experience like this before with any dentist. He is rude and I do not recommend him to anyone, EVER! I endend up going to another sentist to extract the portion of the tooth he left behind and they prescribed me the appropriate antibiotics. Stay away, there are a multitiude of dentists in Spokane to go to, anyone but him. Good luck if you do go. I wouldn't.
