Dr. Steven Max Williams, MD

Excellent Doctor. Paid full attention to details and his staff helped get an appointment for specialist he suggested. You start feeling better just by visiting him.

Dr. Williams has been my doctor since birth. He is amazing! He is now our family doctor and is great with our 2 year old. He is compassionate, explains everything, he's very reassuring when it comes to caring for my child, and I never feel rushed. I can't say the same for some of the nurses, though. I think his nurses are pretty good but not with babies/toddlers.It is near impossible to get a same day and sometimes even a same week appointment with Dr. Williams. He is always so booked and I'm less than thrilled with the other physicians in his practice at Regency. If he isn't available I find my self calling the Millard or Hawthorne court Physicians Clinics.Overall, Dr. Williams is a phenominal doctor with outstanding bedside manner, but just not as available for my family as I'd like.

My son had a 4:00 apt. with Dr. Williams. We checked in at 3:55 and were told to have a seat and they would be with us in a minute. At 4:30 I asked the receptionist if she knew how much longer the Dr. would be she said it would be another 10 minutes. After 15 more minutes I went back to reschedule his apt. because we needed to leave to pick up my other children. She was not helpful and we were going to have to wait another month to get in for an after school apt. The nurse came and called us as we were dealing the the rescheduling and said the Dr. would be ready for us in a minute so we decided to stay. We waited in the treatment room from 4:45 until 5:25 before Dr. Williams came in. He was very apologetic and sweet. His staff however were not courteous at all. I love Dr. Williams but the wait is unexceptionable. This is the longest we have ever waited however in the past it usually 30-45 minutes
