Dr. Steven Davis Woodward, MD

I expect a doctor to listen to my concerns and take them into consideration. Unfortunately, Dr. Woodward does the exact opposite and clearly does not like his occupation. He is insensitive and ready to get out of the patient’s room ASAP, even after I’d been waiting over an HOUR for him to show up?!

Usually when I go to the doctor I’m interrupted after my first sentence. Dr Woodward sat down and listened to my complaints and explained to me what he thought was going on. I had been to my OBGYN and Gastroenterologist and both had not been able to find out what was going on. Dr Woodward ordered the test he thought were appropriate and found out exactly what was going on with me. He even drew a picture to help explain the problem. I couldn’t have had a better experience and this was after I’ve had symptoms for months. OCH is lucky to have him as a doctor.

DR WOODWARD IS ALWAYS KIND AND UNDERSTANDING. HE LISTENS TO YOU AND EXPLAINS TO YOU WHAT IS GOING ON. I AM GLAD TO SEE HIM WHEN I HAVE GONE TO THE ER.

Always kind, always listens. I wish he had his own clinic.

I use him as my doctor even though he works in the ER. Starkville is lucky to have him.

Excellent doctor. He is kind and listens. I'd highly recommend him.

I don't even use a primary care physician anymore and try to find out if Doctor Woodward is at the ER if I need to go to the doctor. OCH should be greatful to have him as a doctor.

Whoever said this doctor hates his job is probably some idiot or drug seeker. He's very kind, helpful and thorough. I asked for a blanket and he got me a warm blanket himself. His diagnosis was spot on. I'd rather see him than almost any doctor I have ever seen.

Basically he "knows" your diagnosis before asking the patient the first question. Would consult WebMD before trusting his diagnosis. Seems as if he hates his job.
