Dr. Steven Wynder, MD

I had surgery on my hand for nerve damage in the elbow area at Ortho One in Fort Wayne but soon after my hand slowly started dieing and I went back to the doctor at Ortho One and was told nothing they could do ! I contacted my doctor at Parkview Warsaw and was told about DR Wynder and to go see him and he got me in fairly quickly . He took the time to talk to me and answer all my questions and more ! Who does this any more ! He operated on my arm and now all my hand is back and full use of it except part of my little finger. I was impressed and my little finger is getting better by the day and I feel I will have full use of my hand ! Now Dr. Wynder is going to replace both of my knees and I feel I couldn't be in better hands ! I rate him superior and five stars !

A month after surgery, my shoulder was frozen and was obviously concerned. Post op appointment: waited two hours to be seen, was asking him questions as he was trying to walk out the door, was told by his 'nurses' that he wouldn't prescribe me any pain medicine..... I DIDN'T ASK! I wanted to be assured there was nothing wrong and maybe 'try propping it up on a pillow when you sleep'. I paid a LOT of money to see this guy and they treat me like I'm a recovering crack head.

horrible do not go there!! only want money, office staff is nasty, treated me like crap made me wait an hour and a half and then said I had to come b ...

Caring manner, excellent professionalism and friendliness from Dr. Wynder and his entire staff. Very good at explaining medical facts and treatment options. Couldn't be happier with the care I've received there.

My 11 yr old son broke his arm Monday night and was placed in a stint by Lutheran ER. I had his records forwarded to Dr., Wynder's office from ER and the ER said to get him in the next day to be casted. After calling the next morning, I was told they would call me back because they were very busy. They did call back and left a voicemail that my son's appt would be the following week (8 days after break). My son has had increasing pain levels and upon calling the office to let them know this, I was once again told they would call me back. I told the nurse that he was on Tylenol with Codeine and Advil, each being alternated every 4 hours. They called back and told me he did not need to be seen and would be fine until next week. I was told to alternate the Tylenol with Codeine with Advil every 4 hours, and i informed her we were already doing this and I had already told them that. She said ok well then change the Advil to Motrin. They are the EXACT same medication so this was in my… opinion to shut me up. I was NOT looking for med changes to begin with. i wanted my son seen by an ortho doctor like the ER said he should be. I have moved on to FW Orthopedics with an appt later today, now that i have someone interested in my concerns. This was absolutely unacceptable patient care. They are diagnosing a kid with a broken arm that they haven't even seen yet!

Dr. Wynder is a very skilled surgeon and a wonderful person to deal with when one has medical needs or surgery. I have had two different surgeries with him and he is top of the line in my book. I would recommend him to friends and family as very talented and skilled.
