Dr. Steven Marc Zeitels, MD

He feeds the phony manufactured industry he serves. The Guardian website had an article on how poor singing technique is contributing to more and more artists needing surgery to repair damaged vocal chords, and this self-serving clown Dr. Steven Zeitels is quoted: “People used to think if you needed an operation it meant you don’t know how to sing. The people I see–they know how to sing!” which of COURSE he's going to say this! His income and liveliehood depends on people hiring him to perform expensive surgery to repair damaged vocal chords! If suddenly every singer learned proper techniques for singing, and no one ever needed surgery to fix things, "Dr" Zeitel's income would dry up and he'd have to get a real job!

This man walks on water, I hold him in the highest regard.

In 2015 I was diagnosed with dysplasia of the vocal cord and was referred to the "best" surgeon for this condition in NYC. The surgery was poorly done and the doctor recommended radiation which I refused. Research led me to Dr. Zeitels in Boston. I have never experienced a more pleasant medical office, or doctor, in my life. The initial visit required a long wait. After the initial visit, my wait time has been brief, the doctor and staff warm, the surgery very good with the doctor's special skill. I have, and will continue, to travel to Boston for follow up exams.

I have spasmodic dysphonia and require Botox injections. Dr. Zeitels was able to give me my first shots extremely quickly and painlessly. He continued to give them successfully every time. Truly a most skilled ENT doctor.

Very disappointed in my experience with Dr. Zeitels. I found this physician, rude, full of himself, and difficult to get a straight answer. He has one of the worst beside manners I've experienced. We also waited 3 hours before we saw the doctor for the initial appointment (we were at the office for a total of 5 hours). I asked him if there would be a change in my boyfriend's voice after surgery and he basically answered: World class singers wouldn't be coming to see me if this was the case. My boyfriend's voice has changed. We are now having difficulty getting answers about his cancer diagnosis because Dr. Zeitels did not send the biopsy to pathology. I would NOT recommend this physician.

Is there any more a person can do for a stranger like me? Just a top notch guy.

The highest ratings for this doctor and his staff are a gross understatement. This doctor doesn't just save voices he saves lives. If you have a problem this physician treats it you won't do better anywhere in the world.

Extremely competent and highly skilled. Finding Dr. Zeitels has been a blessing.
