Dr. Steven Victor Zygmont, MD

I don't often write reviews (good or bad) however I feel the need to express concern over the way I have been treated as a patient of Dr Zymont's for over 10 years. I have recently moved out of state and was still traveling to receive care as I "had" been receiving qualilty care. However, I accessed my portal two days ago and checked it the next day awaiting a response. Much to my surprise my portal had been deactivated - no reason - no notification. Upon calling the office I was told the "practice manager" had replied via the portal and had IT deactivate the account. Now how would I be able to receive a message via the portal when YOU deactivate the account for reason of me moving out of state my simple question could not be answered. Not a courtesy of a phone call, an email outside the portal or even a letter mailed to my address which was on file as being out of state! When asked about being able to retrieve MY PERSONAL MEDICAL RECORDS VIA THE PORTAL I was denied and told… to find a local PCP and they would need to forward written paperwork. I'm not certain who your practice manager is or if Dr Zygmont is aware of how it is being operated, but this is AWFUL care and consideration for patients whether past or present! Many folks have nationwide health coverage or are self-paying and will continue to travel to see their provider of choice. I am not asking him to treat me in another state. I had been receiving care in NY under his NY license. It's disheartening to say that I would never recommend this office under this current management and/or care if it was the directive from Dr. Zygmont himself!

Caring doctor I'd recommend to anyone looking for an endocrinologist. Gentle man who really listens.
