Dr. Stewart Irwin Brooks, MD

My two kids have had the pleasure of being patients of Dr. Brooks for 5 1/2 years now. He is sooo personable, very knowledgable, and friendly. He always takes the time to answer my questions, and calls me back if needed. The best part about him is that he's honest, and direct. I hope he never retires!

The staff is extremely rude and mean. At the time of the visit, I was very pregnant and had pregnancy brain; I had forgotten my sons insurance card at home. Unlike most medical office staff at other doctor offices, the staff was unhelpful in obtaining my medical insurance information and even seemed to take pleasure in making me re-sign several legal documents that should have been fine with cross outs and initials. Recognizing the rude and unhelpful nature of the office staff, I left the office without seeing Dr. Brooks. Either Dr. Brooks has very poor judgment regarding people in general, or he is simply stupid and his office staff has him fooled. Either way, I would recommend avoiding this doctor at all costs.

Really cares about and likes children. He can diagnose in an instant. Delivered my twins and been my 15 yr old's doctor since 2 1/2 years. His manner is so low key, he never alarms. He (and Dr. Doberne) have given us excellent care and support. I pray he will never retire.
