Terrible bedside manner. Caused more anxiety and fear after visit. I went into ER for chest pain and tested positive for blood clots. Which after further tests came back negative. I told them I was suffering from postpartum depression and wanted advice on what medications to take since I had been prescribed pain pills after delivery. Then he started talking about how different medications could cause death. He also reminded me I could die in a car, instead of calming a patient down during panic attack he was more interested in telling me I could die from anything. I left the hospital feeling hopeless and even more scared. I’ve made an appointment with my regular dr to try to get help. Would not recommend to anyone experiencing anxiety or postpartum depression. The nurse on the other hand was very helpful telling me the pain medication I was on could cause anxiety.
