Dr. Stuart Leon Gordon, MD

Poor medical evaluation and care. This doctor completely disregarded my severe pain. I stated my pain level 10. When I received the report a month later, he documented no pain. My ct scan had an official abnormal radiology report that was disregarded as well. I was extremely uncomfortable during this appointment. I would not recommend this doctor.

I saw Gordon, because my workers' compensation insurance company wanted me to see an IME. He only saw me twice in one year for a total of 5 minutes each time. Even though I told him I was still having pain, he cleared me for work with no restrictions. He knew my profession required physical labor. I felt he was willing to put me and the patients I cared for in danger. He also stated my pain was subjective. I thought Doctors are supposed to listen to their patients and provide care. I was extremely disappointed in him as a doctor. I don't believe he should have his license if he is not going to perform as a real doctor and care for his patients. Also, he rushed the appointments both times and spoke about my weight, which had nothing to do with my injury. I would NOT recommend him and believe he caves in to the pressure of the insurance companies, whether for money or to simply appease them. He obviously cares more about that than his patients. If I had known I could change IME doctors,… I would have requested a different one.

This is a fake dr. He makes his living by getting paid from workers Comp companies to deny injured workers any coverage. This guy basically lied about my condition that was the result of a work related auto accident and skewed me for life. If there is such a thing as karma he's got some coming. Stay away from this hack.

Dr. Stuart Gordon is one the best doctors I have the advantage of seeing. He replaced my hips years ago and now I am having knee problems. Instead of rushing me into surgery we will try to strength the knees first and do a wait and see approach. I trust him and he makes you feel like person not just a patient. I recommend him to everyone. His staff is extremely nice and you never wait for an appointment. He’s a excellent doctor.

Dr. Gordon made 3 appointments and billed me 3 times for consultation just to tell me I needed a hip replacement. This was unnecessary. All times he rushed me. Seems more like an assembly line and eager to bill. Person who schedules surgery is very coarse and not at all personable. Even Rothman is more considerate and that's not saying much.

He operated on both my knees for Meniscus tears. I was later told By other drs that they wouldnt have done both knees at same time. Kept telling me I could return to work as he drained lole 120ccs of fluid from my knees. Turned out I was t ok. I had to have another surgery but this time got someone that knew what they were doing, DR Emper. I passed Out on one visit to Stuart Gordan amd he seemed Upset. That same day he drained My knee and it was the first time ever that the needle actually hurt. He was questioning me on what another sr tole as he was draining my knee. I would NEVER recommend him

I had my hips replaced by dr. Gordon over 12 years ago and things have been great. Saw jim last year for my knees and he spent time with to explain my options. I am fortunate to have doctor like him.

Dr. Gordon was 40 min. late despite early morning (8:30) appointment., so it was not due to a backup of patients. I came with 2 problems and he did not address either. Absolutely refused to treat them leaving me in the same discomfort I came with. Submitted around $400 bill (and I have a high deductible plan) and threw an MRI prescription at me despite the fact that I discussed it with him and why it would not be necessary to do again at this point). Zero compassion and zero desire to help. Long wait, 5 min. of face time, nothing done (I needed a cortisone shot in the shoulder and elbow brusitis fluid drained drained), big bill and that's all. I'd speculate that he was late and didn't want to spend any time treating me. I'd rather see physician assistant in that office. He is a better physician then Dr. Gordon. And yes, wasted time from work with no medical help from Dr. Gordon. He did remember to bill me though.
