Dr. Stuart Haber, MD

Dr Stuart Haber impressed me so much that I had, originally, written an excessively lengthy review with numerous effusive, over-the-top praises but... 1) I realized that no one would read all of that and 2) I was just gilding the lily!! So let me streamline this. In a nutshell — He is hands down THE BEST doctor I have encountered in many, many years. Right off the bat you can tell that he sincerely loves what he does and he is there to take care of you. I had the most detailed and comprehensive physical exam since the exam I had with the US State Department 50 years ago!! He takes his time with you, he listens to you!!, and he covers everything…unlike too many doctors today who kick you out of their office after 20 minutes (which has happened to me twice!). It is such a relief to have finally found a PCP that I respect, admire and feel comfortable talking to about anything. His brilliance may be a tad intimidating to some. He often speaks in very academic medical terms…but… when you ask for an explanation, he gladly gives it to you in plain english (with no judgement!). He’s the best. I just really hope that one day I get to sit down with him, have a beer, and get to know him.

My husband has been dealing with a persistent cough and wanted to see a doctor. However, the doctor didn’t see him; instead, a nurse conducted a virtual visit. She seemed unconcerned and prescribed heavy antibiotics without even examining him. How can someone like her be a nurse? She never see my husband, didn’t order any tests, and didn’t even listen to his lungs. She wanted to treat him without a proper diagnosis! When we asked about the diagnosis, she essentially said, "I don’t know; it could be many things, but let’s try these medications." Isn’t that reckless? She could seriously harm a patient this way. She shouldn’t be practicing as a nurse! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTISE!!!

Dr. Haber is a brilliant, caring physician who is dedicated to the health of his patients. As a patient of many years, I have only praise for his abilities and consider him to be the finest doctor.

Dr. Haber is one of the most knowledgeable, thorough, and caring physicians. I have been a patient for many years and his ability to diagnose and treat me is professional, skillful and compassionate. He takes the time and care with patients that is rare today. Is staff is also accommodating and makes time for an appointment in case of an emergency.

Excessive tests that insurance would not cover. Surprise bills. Have changed providers and the costs of the same services are much more competitive and my prescriptions are promptly filled.

Should be involved in research not seeing humans.

Cold and insensitive. Horrible bedside manner and a complete let down in a time of need.

I have been seeing Dr. Haber for many years. The reason I stick with him is because he spends more time with me than other doctors and answers all of my questions. He is very thorough, also friendly.

Dr Haber is a temperamental man to the point of being testy and petty. He does not like to be challenged, even though you ask intelligent questions based on research. After you take tests, he has his office girls give you the results, even though they have no idea what they are talking about. As a result, an important issue was nearly misdiagnosed until I kept insisting that the test results she was giving me did not sound right. His office space is very unprofessional, and one step above a free clinic.

Dr Haber is a weird man and a mediocre doctor. He has obvious psychological problems.
