DO NOT RECOMMEND. Rude and unprofessional are the only words I can think of to describe this clinic. Dr. Kassan or whoever is in charge is much too busy or they don’t care enough about patients to be available for answering phones, scheduling appointments, seeing appointments.. anything! My appointment has been cancelled the day before THREE TIMES IN A ROW now because the doctor “will suddenly be out of town for the rest of the week.” I’m trying to see Dr. Kassan from 3hrs away and they cancel my appointment the day before? Three times?! I have to plan for this in my schedule! I work in the medical field so I understand how busy offices can be, but this is unacceptable, rude and unprofessional. Definitely NOT how a doctors office should operate. I understand family emergencies coming up, etc but not three times in a row. Meanwhile his patients, like me, are living life with constant pain wondering and trying to figure out if they have an autoimmune disease or not and what to do about… it. I’m so upset and disappointed with the experience I have had with them. I will be finding another doctor ASAP. I should’ve listened to others reviews and not even tried to go here in the first place.

To all of you who won't see Dr. Kassan because you don't line the wait-thank you. You left more time for me and I need all the help I can get. I've been searching 35 years for answers and Dr. Kassan treats me with respect, listens to my ideas and has found answers to a very complex set of medical issues. So keep on walking if you don't need to he treated that way.

I first saw Dr. Kassan in an emergency situation, while my original rheumatologist was on vacation. I stayed with him because of his knowledge, his willingness to listen, and his wonderful bedside manner. That was years ago, and I am a devoted patient of Dr Kassan’s. I have to see many doctors and have done so for lots of my life. Dr. Kassan’s intelligence, knowledge and compassion put him in the number One position in my experiences. Because of all his wonderful attributes, he takes all the time needed with each patient; he does not put patients off to be seen by a PA—no matter how good the PA might be; therefore wait times can be somewhat overwhelming for some patients—especially working patients and those with children. This fact is unfortunate because Dr K receives some negative reviews in this area. I can only say that I will never seek a different rheumatologist. He’s simply the best in my book. Prospective patients should weigh the probable time… commitment involved with seeing Dr.Kassan on a permanent basis.

Been seeing Dr.Kassan for years, he has saved mine life twice.some complain about the wait, but can check in, pick up a pager, go to lunch, read a book, visit with great people in the waiting room. He is worth the wait and more!! His staff is Great!! I'm in better health because of him, he's the BEST. Thank-you Dr.Kassan!

Its one thing to have to drive an hour and half to see the DR and the soonest to get an appointment is 2 months. But what kind of Dr thinks it is OK to wait in the waiting room for over 2 hours and then when you make it into a room you are told you have another hour to wait. Spent over 5 hours and did not even get to see the DR since I left when I was told it would be another 45 minutes or more after the hour wait in the room. As a professional this should make you feel horrible on how your patients are treated. Maybe the office staff should only book 4 patients a day for you so you can see them all in their 4 -5 hour span per person.

Rude staff that sound like clucking chickens talking bad about other people. Too bad Dr. Kassan doesn’t have a better staff. Or maybe listen to his patients when they tell him how bad they’ve been treated.

And the office staff is incompetent. Office manager even worse.

How do you improve perfection?...this exceptional physician saved my life as I was within 2 hours of of my condition proving fatal! I assure you he is worth the wait! Beginning at 7;00 am...ending after 10:00...This fine gentleman is an endangered species! He must never retire since his care and concern is unparalleled! Staff too pays strict attention to detail? The BEST!!! ????
