Dr. Stuart Seth Leicht, MD

First time to visit Dr. Leicht. Total staff, Vickie, Lola, Becky, excellent. Dr. Stuart Leicht very thorough in exam, diagnosis and treatment. Most excellent skin specialist. Highly recommend.

Dr. Leicht quickly and accurately diagnosed a condition I have dealt with most of my life. The treatment was quickly successful and I am living rash/hives free for the first time in my 52 years of life. I only wish I had found him sooner!

I did not care for this doctor's quick exam. I ended up having to point out to him what my skin issues were, when he should have found them on his own. He also kept asking what other medical issues I was having, which would have made sense if he hadn't turned right around and scoffed at all of them. Very annoying and degrading. Not professional for a doctor. His snarky attitude (pretty sure he thinks he's humorous, but, NO...) doesn't belong in this setting. He needs to save that for dinner parties and the like, and make the choice instead to treat his patients with respect and kindness. I would not recommend him to anyone. I'm shocked this guy was recommended to me by a family member.

Dr. Leicht is an excellent physician. I have had the good fortune to have many fine physicians in my journey. Dr Leicht is one of the finest! Knowledge, professional and a doctor who cares about your well-being! He is clear, articulte and will candidly tell you what you need to know not just to address you specific reason for your visit but how to be well as a person. One of the BEST! Ole Rugger!

My left jaw became really swollen about 2 years ago before I was a patient of Dr. Leight. After several weeks of antibiotics and seeing several doctors my diagnosis was an infected hair follicle. My swelling did subside but in retrospect I have to question this diagnosis since I was not ordered an ultrasound or ct scan.I saw Dr. Leight with the exact symptoms a few weeks ago.He gave me a good examination and ordered an ultrasound of my left jaw because he strongly suspected that I had a parotid gland blockage. He was correct. The ultrasound showed a stone in my parotid gland duct that resulted in the swelling and infection.I went to an ENT doctor and he removed the stone.Dr. Leight's correct diagnosis put me on the right path for treatment and saved me from several weeks of discomfort. Extremely efficient, takes the time to throughly explain what you need to know. Works well with his staff. Top rated in the field of Dermatology, and well schooled in other medical conditions. He is a credit to ESTU for sure.

I went to this dermatologist for a body scan after being diagnosed with melanoma many years ago. Other dermatologists I had visited were more interested in cosmetic procedures than a thorough scan. As far as life and death issues like melanoma I have complete faith in him. However, he doesn't want to bother with utilitarian issues like skin care, non malignant growths, or questions about graceful aging. He would not recommend a simple skin care cleanser or moisturizer, etc. Refused to address things to help melasma, etc. So, while I am not going to die of a malignant skin issue, I am going to be wrinkly and covered with ugly growths on my face etc., and he is fine with that. If you want to live, he is liekly your guy. If you want to live and not look like the crypt keeper, maybe add another dermatologist to your regimen to get some skin care advice.

Dr leicht and his ETSU students saw me for painful lesions on my hands. He and his team excitedly worked on a diagnosis and arrived at one. Then they did not offer any treatment or referral.After 5 weeks I finially had to seek medical help elsewhere. Dr Leicht did not offer any treatment or solutions. Poor quality healthcare. He took my money and my time and offered me no treatment. I am a private pay patient . I am not on state or federal insurance. There are treatments availabe for my condition. Dr Leicht just did not follow thru.

Dr.Leicht is obviously an intellectual and competent dermatologist (as evidenced by his numerous "dermatologist of the year" plaques hung around his office}, but it is instantly obvious that as a human being he is downright AWFUL. He things he is God's gift to humanity (he can often be heard rambling on and making dry jokes to his medical students, waiting to here them laugh), and honestly is an arrogant pr-ick. He uses terms like "supratentorial" to hide the fact that he thinks some of his patients are crazy (and he will dictate this into your medical notes!!!) I have even witnessed him trying to convince patients of the imminent zombie apocalypse, complain about Obama, and the impending collapse of modern society, etc. constantly!! Bottom line- if you want a smart doctor who is a jerk and a little off- this guys the doc for you. If you want someone that is not honestly a little crazy- look somewhere else!!!
