Dr. Stuart D. Lewis, MD

Dr. Lewis is a wonderful doctor. He listens and is attentive. He is thoughtful and thorough clinically. I always feel listened to and well cared for. I don't understand why and am saddened to see that he has so many 1 star reviews. He really is a fantastic doctor

Dr. Lewis does not specialize in weight loss. He does not respond to patient questions. He is impersonal and seems harried.

I've been a long-time patient of Dr. Lewis, well over 10 years. I found him more thorough and engaged when he practiced independently in SOHO, but in the now several years since he moved to Concorde Medical have found him inattentive and sometimes even dismissive of concerns. He failed to answer emails through Concorde's web portal, and provided little to no follow up after visits.

After a couple of years of seeing Dr. Lewis I have found him to be calm while attentive and proactive when addressing health concerns that I have raised. I appreciate his bedside manner as well as the referrals he has made to see specialists. I find that while busy, he is able to see patients close to their scheduled appointment time.

Dr Lewis totally acted in a way that bordered on malpractice. I went to see him for a yearly physical. His office staff called me back a week later saying my calcium was minorly elevated and asked me to come back to have a repeat blood test. I came back the next day and was led into a room. Two women who I had never met one holding a clip board with an angry look on her face and the other one holding this big container tells me Dr Lewis requested that I take a 24 hour urine test instead of the blood test. I asked why and they wouldn’t tell me and said it’s serious with the calcium and “good luck” . At no point did dr Lewis ever call or speak to me. I was in a state of terror for a week with no explanation about what was going on. It’s been more than a week and I still haven’t heard from the doctor. My mom called the office and apparently the nurse said the test was normal and she would call me back to apologize. She called me back but didn’t apologize instead justified her position and… said that I could have just looked up the test results online like that’s the appropriate way to find out god forbid if something was wrong. This doctor hires the most low level rude staff and I’ve never experienced such apathy from a doctor to not even call me or speak to me before or after any test let alone one that lasts 24 hours. I highly advise against seeing this guy. He comes off as very kind and warm but underneath it is total indifference.

Not thorough enough with proper diagnosis and treatment. Needs to better understand the root of problems and conditions.

Dr. Lewis takes time with each patient and has your best interest at heart. It may seem like all doctors would do this, but they don't. He is very concerned with you as a person and is very easy to talk to.

I was not impressed with Dr. Lewis after my first visit with him but he is growing on me. At first I felt like he was very cold and distant but I am beginning to see that he is actually caring and a very qualified doctor.
