Dr. Stuart J Maslin, MD

Doctor Stuart Maslin MD is a wonderful doctor!!! Extremely knowledge, patient, attentive and caring. He came in very enthusiastic, and energetic. He patiently listened to my moms symptoms, he looked at the blood exam, CT scan and ultrasound results from other doctors/facilities, he asked questions, he performed a thorough physical exam in the stomach/gall bladder/intestines area, and then he explained to us very slowly and clearly what he thought was happening and why. This made a world of difference. As Brazilians who speak Portuguese my mom was worried she wouldn’t be able to understand the doctor. (This has caused problems in the past in other facilities) She can understand English but not when people speak quickly. With Dr. Maslin this was not a problem. He was patient, kind, knowledgeable, he explained how the gall bladder works and tied it to the symptoms she was having. My mom was worried it was time to have surgery because she already knows she has gall stones, but she wasn’t… sure if what she had been feeling this week was due to that or something else. While she is going to schedule surgery asap before the gall bladder gets any worse, she does not need to rush to the ER today (unless her symptoms get worse of course). The medicine provided should improve her symptoms for the issues caused this week which does not seem to be caused by the gall stones, but rather the stomach. Anyway, we cannot speak well enough about Doctor Maslin.
