Dr. Stuart Rhein, MD

Let’s see. He ruined my life of last thirty years by injecting mold (all major mold spores those grows in the USA) in my blood in the name of building immunity, just so that he can bill insurance company and make more money faster for himself. He did that without telling me and without my approval. I was Microbiologist and I knew about the consequences at that time. When I found out I confronted him, then he changed all the records. Now I cannot live out door or indoor anywhere in the USA. Prior to that I was only sensitive to one mold named Penicillium, now I am still (after 30 years) severely sensitive to all of them and it has ruined my life. I can't work or go out anywhere. My life became prison in my home. I have to run hepa filter all the time. Ionized air and humidity drive me crazy. My life became complete waste. I just wonder, to how many people he did this kind of thing? Do they even know about it? I know this because I have a proper education to understand it. People, please… be careful with doctors, it’s getting worse out there. I encountered people who ended up with surgeries, even when surgeries could have not helped them at all. Always take second opinion from trusted doctors. It’s sad but true and completely wrong!

Best doctor I ever had

This docctor is AMAZING! he truly genuinely cares about every single patient! Every doctor has their quirks (regarding personal space) jowever he always has a nurse in the room when needing to examine you closely. Breathing etc. He likes to make jokes but sometimes it goes over your head because he is just that intelligent...staff is wonderful. You will love the nurses. He takes his time with every single patient. You dont feel like your just a number being pushed out the door. I personally would prefer to wait and get the time i need to be properly diagnosed and have a treatment plan set up.

After reading the reviews, I can agree that he is a close talker! But he's never been rude. He does have a quirky sense of humor which I don't think everyone "gets". I developed allergic rhinitis and asthma 6 years ago and since seeing him he's been able to keep it control with the appropriate medication and immunotherapy. I've had to take it slow since I have had a few small minor reactions. Overall he's been a nice guy, seem to genuinely care (as does his wonderful nurses!), and has helped me live a better quality of life.

I have been seeing Dr. Rhein since I was 4, I'm 26 now. He is an excellent, caring doctor. You may have to wait awhile when you come for an appointment, but that is only because he takes his time with his patients.

Close talker review is totally accurate and I can't desscribe him any better. My wait time have been longer.

Dr. Rhein is definately an asthma and allergy expert. However, he thinks he is Groucho Marx.If you are quick, intelligent and witty and can keep up with him you are all set otherwise, he doesn't have any patience for you. His staff is excellent as well. You have to weigh putting up with his personality against quality care.....also he gets very close into your personal space. So if you are a hand's off type of person, beware.

I'm pretty picky about my medical care, and I can say from personal experience that Dr. Rhein is a genuine, caring and excellent allergist. He really cares about his patients - something that is a true rarity these days. If you are looking for a friendly, caring physician, then he is for you.

When I say worst, I mean worst Dr. I've ever seen. Ever.The wait was short, but I gave it one star because Dr. Rhein was so bad. Here's why:He's insanely rude. He made me feel like an idiot, no matter what I said. I thought maybe he was having a bad day the first time I saw him, but it never got any better. I saw him for my eczema and all he wanted to do was talk about my asthma. My asthma was fine, but he wanted to keep testing for that. He finally gave me a patch test which gave me such a bad reaction, I had a horrible rash from head to toe, a fever and I was uncontrollably shaking. When I called to tell him this, he said I'd be fine and to come see him in a week. When I saw him, he told me the reaction was not from the patch test. When I still wasn't any better I called back. He could not see me and referred me to another Dr. I told this Dr. my story and she told me my reaction was most definitely from the patch testing and couldn't believe he would ever say it wasn't. … Then she wanted to know why I was referred to her, since she was a skin cancer specialist. Hmm... She referred me to Dr. Pamela Norden and told me NEVER to see him again.If you are looking for a good allergist, see Dr. Norden. Steer clear of Dr. Rhein.

Dr Rhein is inquisitive and will look for correct diagnosis and solution. He takes time to follow up with his patients and provides comic relief when your feeling down. He is without a doubt one of the best.
