Dr. Stuart Craig Shaffren, DDS

Dr. Shaffren has been in practice for 30 years in Bayside, NY, seeing patients who travel from all parts of the city and beyond. He is a graduate of Yeshiva University and NYU School of Dentistry and keeps up with latest techniques by taking continuing education courses.  He loves children, and has a bulletin board filled with photos of happy faces of kids, many of whom have grown up in the practice and now have kids of have their own on the board. Children take delight in finding their picture in subsequent visits and seeing how much they have grown and changed.
While Dr. Shaffren loves his young patients, he performs all forms of Family Dentistry; including restorative and cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, crowns, implants and tooth whitening. He particularly delights in restoring his patient’s smiles and is happy to show his numerous photos of them.  He offers 32flavors of polishing pastes.  That's more than that ice cream company!  Can you say them all?
He is married …to a school psychologist and they are the proud parents of a daughter and two sons, all of whom are married. They are the adoring grandparents of five little boys and one little girl. Check out the newest (cousins) below.  When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Shaffren enjoys skiing and spending time with his grandkids, sometimes, both at the same time (hopefully, not with the newbees)!  He has recently taken on a new hobby of home beer brewing.
